Thanks for the replies guys. Martin once I have a list of things I need I will be in touch. Yes its odd the frame does not look like its been black in the past and the tank does not have any signs of yellow on it, plenty of rust though! but very little inside. I'll strip it down and clean it up and then decide whether to go 'normal' colour scheme or have something a little different. Mick

Hi all, after a few years of talking about it I finally bought a twin shock, and here it is what a beauty!! http://www.normandym...ry/IMG_6444.JPG OK so its going to need a lot of work to get it right, however under all the grime frame and side panels are not that bad. The engine is going to need a complete rebuild and a barrel as that's missing, but for what I paid for it I expected that. My question to you guys that know, was there ever a SWM in this colour scheme as it seems to be original rather than repainted or powder coated? The panel on the seems to suggest its a 320 from 1980 http://www.normandym...ry/IMG_6445.JPG I wanted to know if I should keep this colour scheme if it was original or change it to the Black and Yellow. Any ideas?

Camping Weekend and Trial at Sethern, Dunsfold, Surrey. 17th to 19th August, camping from Friday PM @ £5:00 per night, per unit. Water and Toilets on site. Sat AM setting out course for Sunday trial Sat PM practice for anyone @ £10:00 (to cover ins. etc) Tuition to riders who would like it from top Experts, also £10:00 If sufficient will set out a few little sections for under 10’s. Had a few calls today asking about Sunday's Normandy TVTC trial at Sethern, Dunsfold, Surrey To confirm it is definitely ON, the ground is damp but not flooded, the sections have been set up expecting wet weather. Entries on the day will be most welcome. Mick

No Problem We do other trials, such as our next club trial on April 3rd at Sethern, Dunsfold south of Guildford this will be a mark yourself trial open to all. We are part of the Thames Valley Trials Combine a group of 5 clubs running trials all year, the next at Hookwoods trial centre run by Twickenham and Hookwoods clubs on 13th March for more info check the TVTC website Mick

Hi TLTEL Yes you can enter on the day although it is an ACU event so you will need an ACU licence. This event no solo riders under 16 years are allowed I'm afraid. The trial will not be that hard but it can get a bit muddy and the forecast is not looking that good so far. Mick

Hookwoods MCC are holding a TVTC Fun Trial Day at Hookwood Trial Centre This is a specially designed course for beginner and novice riders, experts and intermediate riders are welcome on a separate course. The trial starts at 10:30am As part of the event OSET UK will be running a have a go sessions starting from 1pm. The full range of these great little bikes will be available to try a ,12.5 24v, 16.0 24v, 16.0 36v The set up will be quite informal and the length of time of each session will depend on the demand. If anyone has any questions about the product then Ian Smith, Barry Huskinson of OSET will be on hand to provide information and answer your queries.
