The thing I fear most this time of the year during practice sessions is to spot morel mushrooms! Once spotted, practice is over!

Its funny, most of them old birds have been sitting down so long there is no hope of em ever standing on the pegs!

Its funny, I sometimes get the erge to ride MX again, I always enjoyed the sport a lot! So, I'm browsing threw results and see riders from the time period of when I competed in MX, I'm thinking Wow, these guys are still at it! Then today I read where a 40's yr old guy I was friends with back then broke his hip over the weekend. Needs a hip replacment and I would guess at that age dirt biking would be over period!
I'll stick to my weird looking machine with no seat!

Biketrials, motocross and now I even see videos on mtbreview.com in the forum section. I think it would be cool to have a forum for common club trials riders to place there little vid clips! To watch the Pros is cool, but seeing club riders sruggling would be a hoot!

PAT SMAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keeping a clean airbox/carb! I use filter oil, grease around the the lip of the filter, grease even at the mouth of the airbox lid! But I continue to get dirt in the carb, I always check the boots between carb, cylinder and box to make sure seal is tight! Air box has no cracks seems good.
I feel like I take all the proper steps in preparing a clean air flow on my 2003 Mont!
How often do you guys replace your filters, buy new ones?

DGSHANNON,
Would you know how much compression a ty 80 engine should have fresh?
-
No doubt about it, the TY is a 80cc!
Would you fellow trials enthusiast happen to know how much the compression should read on TY 80's Engine?
We want this mini running top notch! "Wild Bill" Is meaner than {cat poop}We feel he will be doing splatters in no time!

Thanks Jay, I'll start with those suggestions first! This is a friends bike, the pilots name is "Wild Bill" and he is about 4.5' tall. This will be his first year at trials.

TY 80, the bike starts and runs but when put in gear you have to rev it up and push off while releasing the clutch to get rolling, once its in the power band, runs great. Is this the way the TY80'S run? The topend sounds tight.
I would like it to run slow and zippy while in 1st gear, any Ideas?

Lane,
The show was 100% excellent, I enjoyed every minute of it! I liked the part where the guy ask Debbie if she would adopt him while riding ATV's, obviously he enjoyed your motorized toys.
I hope your children continue with the stunt buisness in the future.
Great stuff!
