Help!
Any suggestions on primary gear removal, the little bugger will not come off by lightly prying up and my gear puller is to big. I guess its hung up on the key.
Thank You.

BENT FENDERS Best MOTA event because:
Large turn out of spectators, mostly bikers!
best concession food!
Creekbed= wet sections!
cute chicks that ride ProAm short track participate in trials event!
and King Zippy ready to punch your card!

Copemech,
You have been very helpful, I hope other trials enthusiast find this thread informative.
Thanks Again.

I'm sorry, I mean when changing engine seals on a Sherco no need to split cases.
-
Copemech,
I did a small test starting the Sherco and sprayed a little starter fluid behind flywheel and bike died and yes Idles very rough. When it heats up the exhaust smells unpleasant like gear oil being burnt. Could this be a double whamy, both seals going at once?
Someone told me that changing engine seals on Sherco's is a snap. You pluck them out with a dental instrument (be sure to sterlize in autoclave) then pop back in, is this procedure correct?

Sherco 2007 290 is fouling plug, runs boggish, carb/airbox always clean. Could this be related to a failing stator plate or CDI box. I have a 2006 Sherco that I can swap parts from, but just wonder if this could be electrical/heat related. Engine seal?
Thanks.

Michiana Trials Riders hosted the first MOTA points event for the 2010 season. Mother Nature did not cooperate and we recieved over 3" of rain in 48 hours. Despite the weather the event was well attended with 70 riders on Saturday and 57 remaining to gut it out on Sunday. The most exciting attendees were the youth riders with 8 on Saturday and 9 on Sunday, none were lost in the heavy rains and humongous mudpuddles. Our hats go off to Scott DeBolt for helping organize and working the youth comp instead of preparing for his own Expert class battle.
Michiana muddy mishaps included, David "Biff" Knapp swinging in full riding gear into the deep end of the pond, the fish were of little assistance in getting him out. Robert Roosen had a wild ride when he touched his brakes and slid across the lawn ending up under Zippy's truck. Do to the weather campfires were a consistant wash out, thus evening festivities were kept to a minimum. Spite the foul weather everyone had a great and challenging time.

P.S. Flip us a $20.00 and preride the sections!
-
Remember! Rain makes for real trials conditions. But are weather people never get it right, probably consist of many sunburns.
-
Update!
This Hotel is 15min. from the event, roughly $55.00 a night. Uptown Nappanne has several good places to eat!
Shamrock Motel

Congratulations to Ron Commo's 16th overall place in Tenn. NEPG Enduro National today. http://www.nationalenduro.com/
-
I think I will ditch my event and come down to yours, that sounds like a complete Blast!
-
Attention Trials Enthusiast: Bring thy TrialsBikes for some pedal action after the comp Saturday night!
-
Zippy,
Since I have your attention, when you travel down to the Michiana Riders 2 day event, staying at sam's trials compound, what would you like for breakfast? Bacon and Eggs, Oatmeal or Captain Crunch Berries. We can drink Coffee in the morning and gaze over the campgrounds from the porch viewing what deceptive practice was committed the night before. Unfortunately Biff is staying at a fancy hotel with a heated swimming pool, he will most likley take his bike with him.
-
Do you know what make, models and year of other bikes would swap. I recall seeing a Pro wheel once for sale for $200.00, Now I definitely would like a spare.
-
Has anyone ever gotten away with 3 bolts only on the rear rotor, this is on a 07 sherco.
I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow.
-
Thanks for the quick reply! I just returned from NATC site and read the rules, I take it there will be a Clubman title at the end of the season? Hope the twin shock class becomes a big success.
-
I was curious what clubmen line at Nationals mean? Do they not already have several classes.
-
Update,
Huge work day! Built several sections with enthusiasm, had a great crew helping. Hills, Hills, Hills......practice your hills......
-
Yes Sir!
Also, there will be additional activities, Official Horse Shoe throwing pits located in the Howard's camp. PingPong tournament near the registration area. And possibly a dog show!
entertainment will consist of RandyR and Zippy playing a duet on there acoustical guitars, Followed by Molly Hatchet. Yes! I'm in the process of booking Molly Hatchet, very excited! I sent them an e-mail and waiting for a response.
This will be the best Northern Indiana Trials Event ever!

No lights needed with the time change sun should stay up till almost 9:00 P.M. So 9 hours should be plenty of time to finish.
-

Michiana Trials Riders dropped some big tree's last Sunday making some excellent new sections. We are well on are way to having a 4 mile loop!
-
Hurray! Looks like nearly all the Mid Michigan Trials Bike Gang is coming down, I better cut a little more camp firewood.
29r, No lights needed with the time change sun should stay up till almost 9:00 P.M. So 9 hours should be plenty of time to finish.
