  1. It will have showa forks & shock from stock,unlikely anyone would change them as they are both as good as it gets.
  2. Bit more info from you would be helpful!!!!! ie what model of bike,year etc. The age is normally on the headstock.
  3. Im sure the RTL was a lot better than the Armstrong, im equally sure Honda paid a lot better than Armstrong too.

  7. If the code ends in 315 its programmable I believe, the standard non programmables have the letters ed on them.

  11. Spokes 4rt. forks showa (post2000) 4rt., pre 2000 either beta or gagsgas fit,pistons etc craigs (just totally rebuilt my engine no probs) even some g/box bits are 4rt. tell yr mate go 4it if its right price.
  12. New back mudguards are scarce apart from that the rest is available if you look.As dabster says a lot of 4rt bits go on a 315.

  16. That's about it jonnyc21. If you have 50 manufacturers then no one of them can be wildly more expensive or cheaper than the other 49. If you only have 3 manufacturers they can charge what they like,cause if we want/need the product we will pay no matter what..

  18. The H&D is definitely stronger than stock,where I practise the stock 1 needs straightening every 2wks, H&D lasts at least a mnth 5wks. Cant comment on MITANI but nothing wrong with a H&D imo.
  19. No nigel the beta ,sherco/scorpa aren,t any cheaper (mont is mind). BUT if J/gas fail and Trs and the infant new GG venture dies again it only leaves 4 options for the buyer. Vertigo & its stupid (in my view) no p/x rule wont sell enough to dent those 4. So limited choices means prices go up cause if you want to play you have to pay!!! Ergo if the above mentioned all thrive which I hope they do & ossa come back,then our choice is doubled hence no one manufacturer can put a huge increase on its prices cause we could buy something else.Kinda obvious..
  20. Kinda obvious nigel , more choice= competitive market = competitive pricing. If theres only one or two manufacturers of anything the product is generally expensive.
  21. Hope your right Huski the more choice the better as far as im concerned,cause it keeps the prices down as much as poss if nothing else.
  22. + the ty would need a v tidy rider to hit the rocks as hard as a raw novice can on a modern bike be it mont or whatever!
  23. It may well be the best trials bike on the planet BUT if the spares back up falls short of the needed/expected standards/norm set by the existing manufacturers its doomed to fail,just as the ossa did & the jotagas/jgas will all to soon im afraid. And Im not bias I ride a mont.
