  1. The Samaritans are also good for rear brake bleeding!!!!!!
  2. I have an H&D sumpsheild on my 15,when I fitted it I caught each bolt by a couple threads 1st before tightening then up a bit at atime, fits perfectly. Had to use the same method on the stock one too every time I straightened it.
  3. Thanks guys, got several avenues to look at.
  4. Do any of you good folks know where I can get a new standard spring for my rainbow showas?. Mine is 15yr old and is sagging badly.Tried H&D,& Banyeres and the local dealers. Any ideas greatly appreciated,Thanks.
  5. Hmmmmm you sure?? you don't sound convinced.
  6. As I read it it appears trial & endure machines are exempt from the abs directive. Or am I misreading it?
  7. The later bikes are very good machines no doubt, but the early ones weren't good at all. Part of the problem being the "bad bikes" haven't faded into distant memory of the buying public.
  8. I am currentely (with help) organising the 3rd rnd of a national championship series to run in april & our local club trial for this sun, believe me if the club had to pay me my working day hourly rate it would be bankrupt in 6mnths or less..Without the hundreds of volunteered man/woman hrs that we who are keen/daft enough to put throughout the country would there be trials at all??? NO. And I for one don't have time or inclination to break down entry fees to show what goes where.. If your that interested join a club and take some of the strain of organising an event off of the daft few who do for your enjoyment and you will see where your measely entry fee goes!!!!!!!
  9. I hope the prices keep strong coz mines going on sale Monday morning... Anyone wanting a very tidy 315r let me know..
  10. All or part of anything sold new & I mean anything has to be fit for purpose. A kickstart lever that has broken in under 12mnths is very clearly not fit for purpose. It will be replaced F.O.C.
  11. The 315 was/is an awesome bike, still competitive at centre expert level at 2decades old,if the vertigo is a new equivalent then its going to sell by the shed load comparatively speaking.
  12. Welcome to the club, biggest grin machine in trials, enjoy
  13. Hope you can curse bilingually cause they both give a load of grief.
  14. Definitely Nigel, and still very competitive in the right hands. Not really sure why Honda didn't keep them going alongside the 4rt,still a market I would think.
  15. I have a couple of termis near me and while they appear well made etc I just prefer the look of a beautifully finished alloy silencer.Maybe im old fashioned lol
  16. Awesome work, deeply impressive, dont suppose you do one for the 4rt. The carbon ones available don't do it for me and the Mitani is of dubious quality, some very good others poor and Im not prepared to see which turns up on the post.
  17. Dunno bout the 10yrs he may well be right, but spares are easy to get, banyeres site has a lot,as do craigs, bvm etc.Go for it......
  18. Afraid I beg to differ iv just totally revamped my 315,new piston, rings small end, gudgeon pin, circlips, gaskets etc all from craigs. Parts are easily obtainable, and the 315 is a cracking bike imo.
  19. It will fit had an ohlins on my 06 and have now put it on my 15,just a straight swap.
  20. No question the mont is planted, whether by frame design or just coz there a bit plump on the scales..... Not ridden an Evo but the older Rev 4 betas were very stable,so you may be on to something atom.
  21. I agree he is very helpful at M Sport & also wish he would show his wares a bit better. Banyeres has showa springs on his site along with loads of trick bits.
