-
I allway's thought those sherco's run on flower power.
very pretty.
-
Sound's good.
have you got any photo's from the event.
-
I believe the wheelie is very important to practice as it give's you an understanding of the power of the engine and when it come's in on the throttle.
This has helped me in trial's when you come to a section and have to give sudden power to get over something, rider's either give it to much or not enough that tell's me they don't have the feel of there throttle and the power of there engine.
-
Im using rook oil at the moment seem's ok.
-
Your lucky you don't have a big metal petrol tank you'd be filling and spraying after every trial.
One of many to come i expect.
you think your peed,up at the farm where i store my classic jag, well it's stored in a barn there, the farmer missed the bird he was trying to shoot down with his 12 bore and hit the side of the barn instead, need i say more the shot went straight through the barn and hit the jag,it look's like a bl??dy pepper pot now.
-
funny how the poll is going so far.
9 out of the 10 section's at the trial i was at were stream section's.The one that was'nt was just a little half climb.I understand that some club's don't have the land with steep hill's.But if you have them all around you and there not being used i ask myself why not.
Is it a case of the landowner not wanting them to be used or are the section's being planned out to how a majority of the rider's like to ride?.
Maybe some one on here who is more involved in setting out section's would be able to show some light to me.

Devon..
Do you ride at the redhill motorcycle club,im trying to track down an old friend from up there.
-
lol,i hope your female because after the lee harris topic aswell,im seriously thinking of giving up trial's.
-
I ask this because i went to a trial the other day and not one section had a long steep climb in it.

We get enough sale's junk coming at us down the phone/letter box/computer/knock's on door's with wanting us to buy stuff we don't want, myself is getting the hump with false selling, this is no diffrent from what the company in question was trying. And free at that. It's nice to come on this site and ask other's for advice and being sent to the people that can supply me with what i want straight away without wasting a phone call to someone who's gonna try and sell me some thing i don't want or leave the contact detail's in the topic in the hope someone else will spot them.
One get's away with it other's will also try it on then we've got a site of junk splattered all over it.
Im sure if they paid enough they could of had there name in light's at the top.
RIGHT MOVE ANDY.
-
oh i see this is starting to explain a hell of alot.
When i was driving over Tower Bridge the other day there was some bloke standing up on the side railing's,now if i knew he was putting into practice his balancing for when he get's his trial bike i would of shouted out some word's of encouragement, anyway his balance was'nt to good he fell off straight into the drink.A bit more practice for him i think.
-
AWESOME...You really have to wonder what happened to our bike industry.
Would'nt it be so refreshing to see triumph produce a modern trial's bike all dressed up in matt black.
-
Nice buy lee.
Well you know what it's like here in stitch up Britain,it' seem's we all like to try and bankrupt each other over here
Are you going to restore the old girl if so i would like to see some picture's during and after.
There was a pair of fantic crosser's on ebay a couple of year's ago one was good condition and one would only of been good for spare's for the other, they were going strong at
-
Jesus were making hard work of this one arn't we..thought it was all sorted.
i think anyone who does'nt understand this now should be looking back into the history of trial's.
-
hi.
miller's is located in south hampshire about 60 mile's from london,he has a little museum there aswell. sammymiller.co.uk
as for local event's im sure someone else on here will be able to help you out there.
-
what get's me is all the marker's for diffrent classes there are these day's,you have to to stop and balance in the middle of it all to see where the hell you have to go next.
But that's another story i guess.
-
You lot must be on drug's.
I look like brad armpitt
-
ok.
suppose your better of talking to the observer first to see how there seeing thing's before you enter the section.
-

Thing's have seemed to of changed a hell of alot since i left the sport in the 80's.
-
is this the one your thinking of 247 cota
-
strangely enough the afgan poppy is being grown in other place's around the world in a controlled manner by legally operated company's,so goverment's like our's can buy it from them for medicine's,we could quite easily buy it from the afgan farmer's,which would mean our troop's would'nt have to risk there live's for being there, that would be one less conflict but politic's being politic's it would put the company's growing legally out of business.
Good bless to all our troop's past and present.
