  1. Try SCORPA-FRANCE or BIRKETT MOTOSPORT on 01229 716806, hope this helps. Brad.
  2. Hey DFW , i run an NGK BKR8EIX iridium plug in my SY250 and it works great, the iridium tip is real tiny and as a result gives a good spark at lower rpm ideal for trials, starts well with it in too . Cheers Brad
  3. Trialscast footpegs, they seem to fit all other brands but will they fit scorpa, anyone know? i dont like the standard pegs they go "blunt".
  4. I really like the look of these pegs as my Scorpa pegs seem to go "blunt" quickly, but are they as grippy as hebo pegs, do they gather mud quicker? p.s Aaarggh just had a look at the website do they even fit Scorpa's .....(Scorpi?.)
  5. HA HA HA :lol:Never mind if it gets too cold we could just build a fire with beta stators and pro gearboxes !.......ooooh handbags at dawn Bradley .
  6. the clutch was quite sharp and hard to control, Funny that i feel mine is abit on/off too ,but as no one else had mentioned it i thought it was me ,i did give some thought to fitting a bigger m/cylinder off maybe an 04 beta , bit like the mod some people do to the rather fine 4RT
  7. Despite being a "Yorkie"myself i cant help agreeing with you in a small part ,my Husaberg 400 i used to own was lovely to ride but not the most "sorted" bike and the dealer in York used to blame everything on owner abuse and apparently gets the "bulls**ter" of the year award from Malton bike club as he tells everyone the same !!
  8. One of my sons has a Suzuki LT50 quad , it seems to take an inordinately long time to warm up ,spluttering with the choke on so i turn it off then it cuts out ,this carries on for quite a long time 8-10 minutes until it eventually clears and runs ok I have checked the plug ,made sure it is the right one ,cleaned the carby out with card cleaner and a compressor and cleaned the air filter and it still is reluctant to warm up cleanly and easily Any ideas ?? or is this quite normal for one of these ? p.s i know its not a trials bike query, but if Ishy can post about skunks then what the hell !!(no offence meant there Ishy!)
  9. I agree wholeheartedly with every thing said above , smooth engine , beautiful craftsmanship , great to look at and even better to ride . The whole thing just feels like it could and will last forever .
  10. Yep . Bought the bike from crosser, so Birks said they could not date the bike, so i had to pay. Friggin' 'ell thats a bit rich and it seems a very poor excuse for making you pay ,did you phone SCORPA direct and inform them of the problem !!

    Tricker

Very nice indeedy that is Billy , makes the scorpa 4tricks look a bit poor ! Whats in there a serow engine? 225 or 250cc ? Whats it weigh ?
  12. Nah mate we just got the '06 models !
  13. Couldn't agree more there R2 , and the guy is seemingly doing it all on a budget too , i did see you lookin longingly at his bike thinking something along the lines of " thats my bike that is"
  14. Best engine ever , dont think anyone would agree on that subject ,possibly favorite engine ever , i personally haven't been riding trials for 30 odd years like some of the guys on here so my expereince is kinda limited ,although that dont make my opinion worthless .......... TYZ motor (fitted in the sy frame )ooooh sooo creamy smooth just great power for a novice trials rider .
