  1. I put mine in for the trial on sunday and the bike did seem really smooth and had nice pick up , and i thought it sounded different but i thought it was just me , maybe it did then ! but all in i thought
  2. So , what ya saying , cheap titanium !! tell us more !
  3. Just out of interest what would something like that weigh also are they expensive to build to a reasonable spec ?
  4. Wow , what a response ! i,m not looking at building a cub i just enjoyed watching him ride , it was a bit like watching Wayne Braybrook ride an enduro bike , he rides with an almost text book riding style , everything seeming almost exagerated . Also the bike really was a thing of beauty ,such simpilicity combined with obvious engineering prowess , i suppose it is what makes our sport so brilliant with such varied machinery being ridden and winning , if not at the top level but at a centre trial against (as cleanorbust says )much lighter(?)and more modern bikes !
  5. I was riding (badly )at scarboro trial on sunday and there was a chap riding a 250 triumph called Duncan McDonald who won the clubman B , The frame on his bike (as well as the rest of the bike )looked very trick , i just wondered if anyone knows Duncan or knows the bike as i wondered if the frame was a "stock" item or some kind of fancy aftermarket jobbie
  6. Cheers for that , got one ordered ,
  7. That's the best plug you could use. The Mont needs the BPR (P = Protruding Electrode) (R= Resistor). The EIX gives the best spark in low rev (i.e low voltage) conditions. Had the same ONE in my Monts for 2 years ! Subira, is that type of plug available in a gas gas pro fitment , if so where from ?
  8. Is that because you are usually too busy laughing at me throwing myself off the tallest thing i can find !
  9. funny that , neither did neonsurges !!
  10. I think they mean flywheel weights , but if it is on ebay it could mean anything !!!!
  11. eh ? ok , heres the deal , send me some of those trials central stickers you have horded away and i will tell everyone it was you !
  12. The silencer on my pro is fitted with a 3mm stainless wear plate on the inside , during a trial i had bashed the exhaust inwards and worn through it So i picked up the phone to one of my customers who put the plate on in the first place , told him the story and said i needed it back for the trial this weekend , our driver dropped it off and half an hour later the guy was on the dog n bone to tell me it was done "wow thats ace " i said i got it collected and not only have they done a top notch job they have also polished it to a high sheen ! all done free of charge due to the good service we give them !! I just think that in this world we live in with so much death and destruction that its great to know there are still some really top people out there willing to give back to the people that look after them ! I wont give out their name as its not their normal line of work but you know who you are , Thanks .
  13. highland ? , hmmm whats that like then ?
  14. hi teedo , gas gas uk told me to use dextron 3 atf , which i believe you can buy anywhere
  15. ishy , please keep these pictures to yourself , my wifey thinks i'm looking at porn with all the odd noises i make when i see that bike !! , it really is a fantastic looking machine
  16. i bought a lift second hand off a mate but all it was was a kind of fancy paddock stand with hydraulics so i took the top off and added 4 pieces of 2ft long 2"box then bobbed the top back on , job done , a mate of mine bought one off of ebay for
  17. Steam cleaner pressure down , heat up , and loads of Proclean then gently rinse with steam cleaner ,blow all water off with air then loads of GT85 (better than WD ) , then lube all pivot points and chain, then do air filter , job done and one shiny pro !! (steam cleaner industrial jobbie like used on farms etc better than cheapie washers as they get their power by pressure , psi , not by lpm ,litres per minute , this enables you to turn the pressure down and still get the job done and cos its hot the bike is nearly dry when you have finished !!)
  18. er ok then...... must be good, do you think he could fix my wartburg then , its old and a two stroke
  19. as i am a gas gas owner i kinda get what you mean there munch ,
  20. i wouldnt worry too much about getting done for speeding on the motorway in a landy !!!!!
  21. I take it you own a four stroke trials bike then? Considering 95% of people on here probably own two strokes its quite a brave or silly thing to say !!(lol) , although if thats you in or on the outfit you probably have a larger streak of both than most !!!
  22. i believe aprilla (amongst others )use their technology on two scooters to great success ,
