well matt my condolences , neonsurge and myself had a f****n ace day playin today and i do believe the sun even made a brief apperance (sp?) we do both live near scarboro though , you know sun, sea , trials !
re the hebo jackets i have a similar thing( kind of a smock ) which i got from springfields army stores(its a proper bike top not some smelly ex squaddie thing) and its breathable has with stood 2 years of trail riding enduros and trials and all i do is steam clean it !! and it is 100% waterproof and whilst your there get some goretex socks 100% dry feet too !!!!!!!!!
-
how is the ole 4 banger , marky ordered any of those gorgeous trick bits off r2 yet ?
-
as regards exhaust note , if your bike is an 04 its unlikeley the tail can needs repacking , unless you ride loads ! , its cheap to do and worth a try though (contradiction i know ) but use the loose fibre stuff not the sheet , i have an 03 pro and i have sealed up the hole in the bottom of the airbox totally i dont like the idea of helping water into the airbox ! for the higher rise bars try racespec or someone like that, mx dealers do more in that line especially if they are fat bars hope this helps (?)
-
funny what cameras can do to a picture you look about 17 stone in that picture , last time i saw you i could of sworn you were about 10 stone dripping wet ! have you been eating all the pies mr coflet !
-
and whilst i'm at it every other brand of bike i try besides my pro seems to ride on 12" TRAVEL suspension and feel realy really plush regardless of set up etc , do pros have harsher feeling suspension than paoli and showa equipped bikes and what can i do about it
-
YEAH GREAT THANKS ?. Heath , do you have the trialstar graphics on your bike or a mates , if so can you post a piccy please , its not really that clear on their site where the seat graphics go , because like you i fancy a colour change but graphics could be a cost effective option .i'm not that hot on the wheel job, i have something else in mind which would alter the look but i'm keeping tight lipped bout that for now , cheers .
-
as my plans for a new bike have been curtailed (ask the wife !!) i am thinking of revamping my '03 250 pro , i once saw a firm at dirt bike expo dont know which year , that possibly "painted " wheel rims has anyone heard of this before / has done it, was it succesfull . also refinishing of manky engine casings whats the best way ,
engine tuning , what if any is the best way to soften the power (clubman B use) flywheel weights / keihein carb / thick head gasket etc whats your expeireince (sp?)
-
thanks bud , not by much tho' eh ! yeah thought of changing my name to something really cool ...... but marky boy was taken !
but on a seriuos note i fully agree with rabie on this , looks cool but kinda says follow me i got expensive bikes ... help yourself !
-
bet thats full of sh*t no one has ever heard of already eh steve !
-
so, it sounds like there was some truth in the rumour that doogie was getiing a "works" engine for marselllies (sp?) . or maybe he was just a bit under the weather at sheffield , even works riders can get ill .... apparently . VIVA DOOGIE

-
that looks like marky boys ole vdub sporting the 4rt stickers , if you look closley you can see the phone no for malton and district line dancing club
-
hi ,on my pro the mid box to tail pipe was blowing and the bike was f@@@**g awful to ride , real fluffy , hard to start etc , once fixed you should notice a big change !
-
-
i'm with you on that one ian , more bike noises please eurosport . But keep jb he is the daddy for this job .
-

-

-
rent a go carts etc have industrial honda engines on they are not like what you describe , try a "real" go cart shop
-
well said , is this really normal practice amongst trials riders to rev the bike from cold , two or four stroke , new or old tech , and i thought trials was a thinking mans sport
-
crosser , thanks for your reply, as i amongst quite a few others had something to moan about , but in critsising small parts of the event dosnt for one moment mean that i for one dont apprceiate(sp) what neil and martin do as i'm sure there are many moments it all seems a bit much for even them ! and also its so good having an event like this not only come to the uk but to yorkshire !! i for one will be back next year with hopefully most of the (minor) problems fixed VIVA SHEFFIELD '06
-
ok, here we go , "taddy" what an opener, brilliant, fajardo - junior raga , cabestany - wow , all that on a new bike , raga - indoor god 'nuff said , montesa riders - send that bike back - try again with a 2 stroke , sounds horrible (indoors!) looked hard work to ride . good night out but unlike last year with dl fighting for the top , this year was lacking in the atmosphere .
P.A system ,hhmmmm could do better and big screens please !.
-
yeah, yeah trying to throw us off the trail eh ! well after much deliberation and consultation and i think the masked marauder is ..... you mr neonsurge
-
-
