i agree the TLM is a very nice looking bike , but whats going on with the swingarm at the end near the wheel spindle , and is it billy t's old bike
-
-
txtpro, what year/cc is your bike ? it looks like a pro in the picture and the early ones did say txt up the tank .
-
i use xcting dougie replica's i'm on my second pair now and like them very much , they are very thin and give good feel , no blisters and dry out on car heater in about 10 mins .
but i always use medium renthal grips which i think stop the blisters more than gloves . :madsanta:
-
dont think so , i haven't seen any hip hop in the mag before !
-
off topic i know , but did you see you got a mention in TBM , mr sunt ?
-
i have seen an 04 sy with pro discs fitted , dont know if they are any cheaper though .
-
if you use "industrial " type ratchet straps with a delta / hook combo and weld the two parts of the hook together then loop the strap thro the delta it will not move , this is the system i use instead of the cheap bike shop type straps and it worked on my husaberg (magura tapers) fine

:snowman: isn't a gazoo one of the things posh folk put in their back gardens to use at tea parties !!! i think he means kazoo ..... (yes i know shut up you tw*t )
-
good point , out trick honda .... COOL
-
forks, shock,wheels,hyd clutch,cdi unit ,carb(?),yokes
-
like i said dude its that (wr/yz) or the ttr250 motor, i dont know of another yam 250 motor unless they use the xt 250 motor
-
is that not kind of stating the obvious ,given the title/topic of this thread!
-
-
WHAT ,THAT ANAL NEVER........!
-
the thing about this is that a test is purely objective anyhoo and is as someone said earlier an opinion of someone else, therefore may not be applicable to your riding ability / style but you can hold a proper test and point out some of the (ahem) not so good parts of a bike , and with good writing and journalistic skills make it sound like constructive critisism rather than an all out attack on the bike , the importers etc and shirley that wouldnt upset too many people ....... now would it
-
bring it on !! let sir melber and his crew show em how its really done !!
-
the point is not the fact that most trials bikes are similar or wether they can out perform most riders,we already know that ! all we ask for is an unbiased test to read and to give us some more info than we can pick up talking to john smith at our local trial , as woody pointed out TBM do it, jezza can do it so why cant TMX ... no balls thats why , if they are not going to do comparison tests or get totally unbiased riders then it is surely a review and not a test !!!!
-
thats looking like another nail in the coffin for two strokes then ! just hope they dont use the TTR 250 engine its 'quite large' or will it be an adapted WR-F engine , electric start trials bike anyone !!
-
i unfortunatley wont be riding this trial ,but the bdmc run the tc trial and it was a great laugh , too much beer but there you go , and as it seems by stu's answers it is to be run as a one off for areet good laugh , and to help people wind down after a busy year at work etc .... GOOD ON YA BDMC !!!
-
it is really the 175 i want anyway , less chance i think of "outgrowing" the bike and im a bit sad in that i like the trick race parts fitted , sounds good so far , keep em comin lads !
-
cheers john , how do you find the suspension on the 125 i was told ( no offence)it was a bit er .. low rent and do they run tubed tyres , is the traction better than the pro ( mines an 03 too)?
-
as above pj1 , works for me and change often or lots of people use dextron 3 atf (from a car shop , real cheap but dont be fobbed off with any old atf ,must be the exact thing)
-
i currently ride a gas gas pro 250 at (rather poor ) clubman B level and im looking to change my bike in the fairly near future , and i really fancy a 175 4t scorpa , i like the look, the simplicity and the individuality but will it be right for me ? i know i can only answer that question ultimately but what are the owners views , what are the advantages?? pitfalls ??
-
ok... but why not take it to the DIRT BIKE SHOW where it belongs , odd methinks , but looks v.nice as do all the 05 shercos
