  3. what is the approx air screw setting for 03 250 pro just rebuilt the carb and forgot to check before taking the screw out , can fine adjust once on bike ,also plug gap ? and do you use high or low modulus silicon to seat air box to seat unit ???? or am i just been anal

  8. it may not be about the bike but at their level it must be QUITE important , and no honda dont own 4t tech but as they are the only ones with a modern 4t for next year they would win the 4t crown ( if there was one ) but yep this changing allegance business dont mean sh*t with a big paycheck waved in front of yer nose

  10. all of this that ben r is telling us echoes what i was told by scorpa uk about the new 150 4t , BUT i was talking to a uk dealer today who told me all about the 125 special edition which is a kind of full racing model ( which i had a quick spin on at the james lampkin training day last week ) which has flat slide carb ,different cdi, cam, wheels, suspension ,brakes etc and is being made in 150 cc too mmmmm very very tempted !

  15. i have gone both routes trailer ( which i had one of my lads at work build) and bike rack and as i generally only move one bike i would go with the rack any day
  16. later this month neonsurge and myself are going to the james lampkin training day , is anyone else going , or know of a decent <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> or pub that is bike friendly as in a big garage and that serves goooood breakfast ...oh yes and is well stocked up on JD for neonsurge

  19. i'm with you on this one marky, i call it road bike syndrome ! and yes there may some very posey bits on it but any standard trials bike ( modern) is more than good enough for us mere mortals . after watching micheal brown practising on his ( almost stock ) beta you realise just how capable these bikes are !

  21. spoke to uk importer again today there will be a 150cc full-on RACING model, as in same spec sussies etc as 250 2t , other than that cant tell you much else as im a gasser pro rider ,just im ready for a change and quite fancy a 4t and i used to own a 250easy ages ago and i dont fancy a kick start hi tech 4t !!!

  23. as far as i know its not a kit as much (although maybe available as such ) as more a complete bike and the way it was described to me by the uk importer it is basically a SY250 2t but with the 150 4t motor in it . as far as the reference to the ttr kit what i meant was (his words NOT MINE ) that the 143cc kit that is floating about is aimed at making the ttr fun bike /crosser a better moto-x bike not to endowe it with lots of bottom to mid range grunt which is as we all know is what a trials iron needs , these are i remind all of you his words not mine !!! and sorry he didnt mention the back muddy !!
  24. spoke to scorpa uk and there will be a 125 4T and a 150 4T racing model in 05 . The 150 is a kit developed in conjuction with yamaha france especially for trials not an adapted motocross TTR kit and reputedly gives a real sweet bottom to midrange and then fitted to a specced up 125 with ALL the trick bits off the sy250 2t . the price will be around 3500 which is either good value or not depending on how you look at things , so for me its a toss up tween this 150 or a new pro gasser but moving up to a 300 !!!
