Here.
I think it's horrid. I'm sure it's a dream to ride but that colour scheme just makes it look cheap. Too plastic-y. 2001 and 2006 were/are the nicest-looking Betas IMHO.
Still, could be worse.... look at Scorpa... or the many tastelessly blinged 4RTs polluting paddocks these days (paging lastplacebrad...)
Mind you, they all look pretty much the same towards the end of a trial in February don't they?
Could be worse but not much, the 06 black was so cool it should have been on a 4RT instead(my new dream bike)that red dont do it no favours whatsoever and as for altering the frame with bits of sticky tape....come on thats so Sherco!!, besides if you want red buy a Cardboard-Cardboard!!...think thats everyone insulted!!!Wahey!!!!
-
Yeah come on Birks, put us out of our misery, that 4RT is lookin nicer by the minute!!
-
Nowt wrong wi' a bit o'good ole bling, as p-diddy was heard sayin yesterday in his bestest yorkshire accent tha nos!!
-
-
Yes, indeed it would, but as the YZ motor is a fairly big ole lump compared to the Mont etc would the 2-stroke motor not look a wee bit outta place in the 4T frame?
Although nice easy carb' removal sounds good........
-
Yeah er sorry about the schpeling Bariy, it wont happen again! hmmm, what note would that be then!!
oh yeah that note, that damn Neonsurge again, i told him it was a bad idea!
-
Dude, you know far too much about the village people and they dont look nowt like any trials riders that i have i ever seen!!! well besides that homo R2W that is!!
Not that i am impyling he is in anyway gay or owt but he did a wonderful job with his "tongs" on neonsurges cumberland not to mention Barries chipolata!!
-
youre quackers, thats ducking hilarious!
-
Actually (I have a good source for this) it was meant to carry on not just a spoiler. It was good IMHO and many others, and was a perfect companion to TMX allowing in depth proper articles which TMX doesn't seem to have the time/resources for.
I believe that the basic fact was it couldn't be sustained due to the top management wanting a bigger subscription take up. Ibelieve the figures were 4k plus so be sure to tell TMX when the responses here get to 5k...............
In some ways it was a good mag as far as full blown reports on trial events et al go.but and this is the big but it was never in a million years going to provide actual tests and /or comparisons in the same way that Si Melber and his motley crew over at TBM towers manage to do!! which i believe is one of the main reasons why most people buy "mags" of this type in the first place!!.
Whilst some people would say that a test of a bike is purely subjective, i had an XR280 and a 400 Husaberg which i bought virtually on the back of TBM recommendations and on both occasions they were spot on in what they said and both bikes were great!
Anyway thats my two-penneth fer what its worth.
-
Glad to hear you enjoyed yer sen hope you've stopped sweating by now!!!
-

-
Wow, that is a blast from the past i used to have a poster on my wall of the fantic cabellero regliata casa (sp?) which i think was a kind of semi works enduro 50 and was the absolute dogs danglers!!
-
A little birdie told me.....total new colours white/yellow or black/yellow, new forks, new exhaust, poss new shocker and a few other bits and hopefully an easily removeable carb (would be a real treat! ).

-
Glad to hear you are settliing in and things are going well, although i hear you arent one of the boys in NZ unless you have a hopped-up ute!!
-
Fantastic news for all Scorpa fans, well done!!
-
What i was trying to say was, that there is lots of information about for lots of other bikesports suspension wise etc, i am certainly not lazy when it comes to my bike! i have two young children to take into consideration on a weekend and of course the wife to keep happy so i only ride once every other week!!
So a good starting point for a clubman would be a real help! many thanks Ned for your grown up and thoughtful reply for a fellow Scorpa rider!!
-
Hi Sven, i am with you on this, if we both rode YZ125's there would be loads of info about!! in trials, suspension is either a "black art" or no one really knows what to do with it!, I am not really sure which, but i am inclined to lean towards the latter until anyone shows me different.
-
I got a unicycle for my birthday last september and after a week of trying igave it up as a bad job and everytime the wife enters my private place(the garage!) she gives me loads of grief about not using it so im gonna give it another go.
Any tips would be very gratefully recieved, i dont have any long handrails to use although i could always cobble something together at work if this is the only way to do it!!
Cheers
