The rear brake on my 280i is only any good if it is wet.Any ideas why this should be?

Thought I would repack the exhaust on my 348 as is suggested.Could see that it had been done before by the ring of weld around it. Cut a rectangular window out and found no sign of any packing and no baffles, just a straight through pipe! Not what I was expecting. What to do next? Who ever did it did a good job of it,just should have done it with baffles.

hi,thanks for the replys.that one on ebay is the same one as i had from Motoclassic in uk. if i hold it up to the forks and line the holes up the brake pivot is in the way.If it was a bit shorter I think it would work.I could do with knowing what the hole to hole gap should be. the part number is 7355.48 on one manual Ive discovered

my recently bought 348 was missing the front brake torque arm.No problem I thought, 2 on ebay both saying for 348 both 5155.050 .Got one and it does not fit! seems to be too long. Whats happened.Could be getting the grinder and welder out.

just got myself a 348 with a few issues, one was the front wheel spacer length without the speedo drive on.Hopefully your 34ml measurement will be right for mine. How do you get the wheels so shiny?

hi all,my 2011 ossa has developed a vibration at about 2/3rds throttle. up to that point all sounds well and starts fine.I cant find anything loose anywhere to cause it.The spark plug was black and a bit oily so I was wondering if the tps was a bit out would it cause the vibration.

Thanks for all the replies, first I took the plug out which was black and sooty looking but had a good spark.I put it back in and it started on the second kick BUT only went for 10 seconds before stopping,Tryed again and it started but ran rough for about 5 seconds and stopped.Next I put an old spark plug in and it ran fine until I stopped it after 5mins.That plug was black when I looked at it.These two plugs were BPR 5ES so I thought I would try a 4ES as suggested.I think theres more wrong than just the plug but hopefully not.
