  1. Has anyone else found the 07 rear mudguards a lot more brittle than previous years?

Come on then, let's have the crash piccy's :D

Would love to but he's away and it was on the most daft end of day no camera type play area ( the near demolition of the front wheel is a total differnt story  )

  2. Had my first play with the Raptors today and they are awesome :D However I need too ask....... Has anyone else found the 07 rear mudguards a lot more brittle than previous years? ( this may end up costing me a small fortune unless I learn too ride properly soon!)

Question 2 are the 4t ones as brittle?

  3. are the jubilie clips on your exhaust gaurd not meant too go through a loop on the inside of it?

    Looking good though :rotfl:

i should think there will be two metal bands on the inside of those rivets that the jubilee clips should go through! At least that is how it was on my gasser one!

Obviously i put it on wrong on purpose, just to see if anyone noticed

I am just a typical bloke. 1st thing to do when you get anything new is to throw the instructions away

    Thanks chaps !!

Will look much bettter now you've got it sorted :D

  4. Just quickly (not gonna mess about too much yet) but the forks preload adjuster is flush with the fork leg and the rear spring is wound up only about 5mm from the bottom, so it's nice and soft like I said I'm not gonna start playing with the rebound too find where it is as I'm out on it tomorrow

As for the pegs the ones on there do feel nice and stable and grippy enough but I'm sure would fill with mud in no time. Personally after all the great response from people on the Raptors have put an order in for a set but as said on another thread about pegs used too have Trialcast ones which are absolutley faultless.... I'm just a bit of a tart and fancied some bling whenever they turn up!

Fast action throttle fitted and shall be staying on there as I am used too this set up from my previous bike (although this one is much pokier yet silky smooth)

  5. Hey all,

got my 'expensive' 98 techno in bits for a bit of a tidy up and some new rings and wheel bearings, going to have a go at polishing the frame so its like a Mirror finish and do a few mods to make it more user friendly.

Thinking about putting a AJP 4 pot caliper on the front as the existing set up is very poor even with galfer pads it, has anyone done this before?

    worth doing?

Heres a pic as I have just started preparing the frame,

    Regards

    Floss

This really is going too be the most expensive Techno going! Doing the rings alone will cost you around

  6. Thought I'd have a quick bounce around on the drive and I honestly can not beleive the differance between this and my 04! Beta have seemingly taken cheating too a whole new level! surely nothing should be that good too ride? (apart from a decent bird of course  ) Probably has something ( a lot) too do with the set up too
