Not quite a broken finger as such and certainley no pins! But here is what I done
as for the hand guards......... don`t do it!
Just get back on the bike and ride the chances of the same thing happening twice? very minimal
-
Absolutely fantastic trial great re-entry for me even if I did get some stick for doing the easy route!
Looking forward too the next Zona One trial thanks all involved

Should pay a damned sight more than that, IMO. In my day, we walked.
In my day we walked too, the scary thing is that was only 8-9 years ago

:agree: However I done a Scorpa Easy rear mudguard a while back (start of 06) all I done was flat it back with a fine wet and dry, bought a tin of "special" plastic primer in aerosol form and also bought the top coat colour I wanted from the same brand although this wasn`t "special" plastic stuff.
Application: As suggested above many thin layers of primer allow too go pretty tacky before the next, I think I done about 5-6 coats.
Then allow too fully cure, apply again in thin even coats your top coat untill desired depth of colour.
Me being me well and truly tested the flexibility of the paint and was very impressed not a sign of lifting even after I snapped and got the thing plastic welded back up

I saw this on the BMW GS Club forum and thought I would pass it on as this proposal could affect all motorists. It only take a minute to complete. >117,000 signatures to date. Petition closing date 20 Feb 2007.
If you care about our freedoms and stopping the constant bashing of the motorist, please sign the petition on No 10's new website
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/traveltax/
The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it.
The tracking device will cost about GBP200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was GBP28 for a rural florist and GBP194 for a delivery driver.
A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid GBP86 in one month.
On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit you can expect a NIP with your monthly bill.
Please pass this on to anyone who owns a car/motorcycle. It affects them all.

I think the Beta shock "new" is just over
-
Thats not a roof rack its a car port i`m told it nearly came down getting the van under it!
And as you asked nicely here is the "unaltered" version
-
Sure was luckily it wasn`t mine Although on the same day I had damages too about the same value
Back too the Linkage thingy it`s surely down too rider preferance? I mean I love the way the Beta rides and the fact it has less space for mud too get into is an ultimate bonus when you come too cleaning you bike.
I think if you asked this question say 15-20 years ago or whenever the linkage system first came out there would be no doubt the linkage system would be much better than any shock mounted direct, but lets face it nowadays the technolodgy available they are going too be pretty close in performance? it`s all down too how you like the feel of each bike
