If it`s easier in the future when I put my V-Force reeds in, if you just take the carby and airbox out you should have plenty of room too get the bolts and loads of room too work in
It sounds like you`ve had some great advice already Yes the Gasser is meant too be more adapt for the trick rider so could probably suit your style quite well but as you have been told they are more partial too maintainance! the ones that stick out too me for your stated requirements are the Beta or Mont so whatever you do get out there and try em all if you can and just enjoy
Theres a little site from round the West country you may have seen?
r2something or another happy new year!
(p.s if you haven`t seen it click my signature)
I think it may be due too being signed in or not? as in when your posting the smilie you are signed in too be able too post but are you signed out when veiwing topics?
haha yeah I though that with the same shot! later in the day the boy`s got the camcorder out and had me doing some big airs off that little transition so i`ll see how they come out if they send them too me? and try and find a way of hosting video?
you mean like this?
I beleive it`s a fairly common problem on certain Beta`s apparently something too do with the magnesium content in a few castings there has been topics on this before but just had a search around and can`t find them
Anyway the one in the picture is off a 03 rev 3 270 (not mine) and was rebuilt using chemical metal for a short term bodge and even though he has a new casing now I think it`s still on there holding strong!
A good way too avoid this as has been said in the previous lost topics is too frequently change the coolant as after a period of time it looses it`s anti-corrosive properties and therfor becomes corrosive as such
Can't find it there.
Sorry didn`t realise it didn`t go directly too the correct page! if you scroll down in the top box till you get too "TEST in Anteprima BETA 4 TEMPI"
I think you`ll find your pictures nearer the bottom of that page but they are only small, However there are more very good pictures on that page too
My stone 2`s although less than a year old have been abused even went mouldy the other day (must remember they need too be cleaned!) But now i`ve found the porper nikwax in a tin and it`s so incredibly cheap off ebay they look like new minus the few scuffs. They are comfy as a pair of slippers and i`ve walked through ankle deep puddles sloshing the water round without my inner boots in and the water is scared of em so impressed
Moral of my post.............. I`m sure if you try a boot on that is a good fit and confortable a good bit of cleaning and care with a DECENT ( I had a crap waterproofer before) wax you`re boots will be great
Never heard of any trials boots falling apart due too quality issues
Yep just bend the little center tab be carefull mind
Must admit it took me ages too figure that bit out was looking for and adjustment somewere, but give that little tab a tweak and you`ll be away
I too heard a "rumour" that this years bikes will be demo`s and the like which would be a good idea I think the Demo term is a tad loose mind as I think there were a few demo bikes plus the few LUCKY normal lads and with a bit of luck for the rest of us these local normal riders should be able too give a good honest reveiw throughout their ownership
if it`s close well worth the look especially as it registered just give it the general once over ask too look at the air filter condition get a good check there no leak on the rear shock and you should be ok
Shh I plan on selling it sometime! seriously though it`s mint Betarev3 has seen my bike catching skills too save it from a fall (no-one mention the finger that wasn`t a catch attempt!)
