  1. Just a thought... is it possible to suggest NEW areas for the forum?

Was thinking that it might be a good idea to have a section devided into Reigons of the UK (and potentially other countries).

The idea behind which is that it might be helpful for event organising, meeting fellow riders online - and at events, and become a good resource for YOUR area?

    What do you think?

    Cheers - Matt.

Man that would get a bit much if you ask me! we already have loads of forums including UK and USA specific ones, doubt the Admins would be up for policing even more than we have, remember this is a worldwide forum used frequently by people from all over the world.

  2. Thanks matey!

Been fiddling with it today, done the fork seals. One thing I have noticed is that the engine seems to run on when the throttle is closed, my mate thinks this is normal and it's just the flywheel effect/heavy crank. Is this normal ? It seems to me to be overfueling, maybe a bit rich or the float height is off any pointers?

If you like me don't like the feel of it carrying on it may be worth taking the flywheel weight off if it has it on their makes a huge differnce if you ask me, plus if you don't like it its only 2 screws and its back on

  3. have a word with Barry... he has a red one that isn't used at the monet. I have a rev4 black one but that is going on my 2008 270 :guinness:

It is collecting dust like a true pro here in the front room! If you want it Hovis give me a shout (07 2t one)

  4. Seemed no point asking what the training was for as none of us know what you do?

On another note I get paid a hell of a lot less than my colleagues that are less willing than I am, but I take every opertunity going to gain all training available and from this I feel I am becoming more of an asset to the company and am definatley getting a lot of respect from others that have the same aproach to the company as you do with yours!

Think possitivley you will surely enjoy life more, and they are offering you FREE training pressumably on work time that they are paying you for. So even if you aren't getting paid any more in salary terms you are still getting paid for the same or near as damn it in the week with the bonus of extra knowledge on whatever the course may be.

  5. I wear the hebo trials team glove and they still havn't got holes in them. Ive had them for two yars and have used them for trials and cyclo trials every night.

    jack

Hmm thanks for that Jack, I have never tried these as I have heard they wore quite quickly! May give em a go though if I can get more reports like that

  6. Seen this on some site and just had to post it

Yesterday I was buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for the puppies, Dallas and Smokey, at Wal-Mart and was about to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog. On impulse, I told her no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again. Although I probably shouldn't, because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry and that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no; I stepped off a curb to sniff an Irish Setter's ass and a car hit us both. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack, he was laughing so hard! WAL-MART won't let me shop there anymore!!!

:D Ah, thanks for that and I also hope that really is a true story. BRILLIANT

  7. Right I know this a common one and I should probably just buy whatever I find cheapest but I need something that will last as I am a poor student (well kinda :D )

But I am in need of some new gloves after many road cycling miles and a small amount of trials riding this year my No Fear Combats are all but fallen apart! So has anyone seen any bargains about as we are at the end of season time of the year? Or know of any new ones that have previously known good build quality?
