  1. Cheers for that people i`ll keep em in mind. Although I did manage a four hour play today with absolutley no damages and I didn`t even fall off!
  2. Works on mine? but I believe Andy has done an upgrade of some form which has altered a few things that he is in the process of righting (well when the poor bloke gets some free time!)
  3. Brake pads? available pretty much anywere believe they are early AJP calipers? try HERE As for the engine manual if you want it its yours for a small donation and the cost of postage? Pm me if your interested Barry
  4. although you called yourself Sir Bling A Lot on your site only the other week?
  5. haha luckily for me we haven`t had any video cameras out over there yet!
  6. Hell yeah! all I can say is mine at worst starts 3rd kick, most of the time 1st and she runs super sweet, Ok not the pretiest bike at the mo but she is getting all her scar wounds healed up with a new set of 2005 clothing very soon
  7. And not a bad tune either! Ok Go
  8. Obviously I may be slightly biased so you`d be better off trying a few for riding style comparisons but I have heard a lot of people comment on the strength of the build quality of the Beta and Montesa over any of the other makes about. I for one can vouch for the Beta mine gets a serious pounding and have never had any real issues with it. Alright i`ve knackered two front wheels in two weeks but i`d guess that the rims are the same throughout most makes. Maintainance wise as long as you have some basic mechanical knowledge a 2 stroke trials machine should last bloody ages before any re-bore/re-plate is required. Look after the machine and it will return you with a lengthy service.
  9. They are amazing decals and especially for the price they are available from a few places i`m aware of. Firstly Here another is Somewere here Or direct from The man himself
  10. Well I need this weekend off too just too finish the repairs off and Heath tells me he`s not riding for some time and not even about so the reports may not be so good but i`ll try my best!
  11. Right then another huge thanks is in order (although I don`t think this bloke will read this!) But seeing as i`m 100% skint at the moment I thought i`d nothing too lose by taking my new bent wheel too a local wheel builder and looking in the back of my wessex centre ACU events book I came across a place called A.B.S products, claiming 20 years of wheel building experiance. Turns out it`s a chap called Alan Brown that my mate uses all the time for ally welding etc. but back too the subject I took my wheel along he had a look and said he should be able too do something with it, although he did comment on the severity of it and the fact its bent mainly on the weld! Went back round today too see how he was getting on only too be shocked with a near perfect rim! this bloke can work magic I swear less than 24 hours and I now have a wheel again oh and he only wanted
  12. when I say water and soap I only mean enough too get a foam up no actual liquid involved really, however I do keep meaning too get some proper tyre soap off a mate, i`m sure its not expensive but why pay if you don`t need too!
  13. Ah yeah makes sense now no worries
  14. Man that was hard work trying too decifer what ever language that is?
  15. Was that aimed at me? if so I get the avatar bit but not the spares?
  16. All I ever use on the tubeless is two rim protecters two tyre levers some liquid soap and water a ratchet strap and a compressed air supply, so easy span mine yesterday I reckon from taking the wheel off the bike too it going back on in a time of 10 minutes
  17. 75:1 is a good ratio which is 67ml of oil too 5 litres but if your like me and not that anal over the measurement anywhere between 60 and 75ml of oil per 5 litres is good
  18. I`m sure Kev would love that, both of us pointing camera`s at him
  19. Right then after a day of repairs and fitting the new v-force reeds purposley leaving the front wheel til last, out it came and off with the tyre, and all my worst nightmares came true at once!!! Not only is the BIG flat spot bigger than I thought but its on the weld and has actually put a nice curve in the whole bloody wheel!!! and just when you think it can`t get worse you have another look at the wheel too see another smaller ding oppsite the big one and on the other side of the rim! So thats my riding over for a couple of weeks possibly even months now I am going too try a few local wheel builders see if they can straighten the thing but I don`t hold out too much hope
  20. I`ve only just started riding the clubman route myself think i`ve done two trials in that class! Nice picture there too!
  21. well was thinking more along the lines of a block of wood and hide faced mallet too be fair plus the bikes gotta be ripped apart too fit my new reeds so I may as well do a oil change while i`m at it. I may be taking it a little easy for the next couple of weeks now as I really cannot afford that rim too split! although I do always say i`m gonna have an easy day next week but something happens when I get out and I get a bit silly!
  22. Only got my reeds off Heath today so not got em in yet! but had a quick go on Heaths early on and seemed very responsive, he was very happy with the outcome at the end of the day and I can`t wait too get mine on maybe the front will rise a little earlier than it has! Atom... whats this recover about? I thought I was totalled when I got home but a good shower and a nice meal and i`m ready for more! But I think i`ll give the bike a little rest and give it a good bit of maintainance tomorrow
