cheers matt about too go have another look now split cases last night but no obvious signs jump out which is good of course but now the head scratching part! what is cuasing the problem?

Hi i`ve got a 97 easy and having problems with getting into 4th 5th and 6th just split engine and am yet too find any obvious problems? any ideas on what could be causing this?

there is always one option for cleaning the expansion chamber bung one end fill with a mix of caustic soda leave a while overnight maybe aggitate a little empty and that should clear the best part of it out

Cheers for that i`ve tried all sorts including heating it up a three way puller etc etc so now its monday again i`m gonna bite the bullet and phone peter knight and see how much he wants for the tool or he may even lend me one? gotta be worth a try

there used too be quite a bit of trials on euro sport what happened to it all every time i look there is nothing?

Hi i`m stripping my engine on my easy 1997 but have come to a bit of a dead end on the flywheel side due too not being able to get hold of the correct puller! however the clutch side so far is coming a part just fine and the reason for the strip is too have a look at the gearbox ( having selector troubles) does anyone know if the box is all on one side or will i need too remove flywheel etc. and if so any tips? apart from the obvious go get the right tool! Barry

Hi i run muy easy on TT-S at a ratio of 50/1 so for % litres of fuel thats 100ml of oil this seems to be a good mix for me and as for gearbox i`m about too try out some fully syn 75-90w i`ll report back on how this goes Barry
