Remember the good old days ?
Well they wernt none.

Ill cut slots in me shoes to get grip when ive been through a puddle.
Christ me Dad wants his NCB wellies back hes on shifts.
Helmet what helmet ive got a beanie on ill be ok

Have you been sniffing glue ?

I think youre thinking to much about a bunch of folk riding around in a muddy field come quarry or woods that no one will ever know about in two years.
Who cares i never get hung up about any results as a constant rider with a name behind him will 5 and get a 1, whilst you get the 5. So just enjoy and chill out its not life or death plus no money to win.
Just ENJOY YOUR SELF.
-
Not keen on the exhaust note.
I never get the green electric motor thing. The power comes from a power station that polution is created, then the power lossed in transporting it via cables to your house.
Batteries in them self are a hazard and dont usually last that long if not properly looked after. How would it do the Scott on time and observation ? 4-5 days

Long bit off wood and a short bit of wood plus rear of car tow bracket. Short bit to beading then long bit as lever under tow bracket and onto short bit. As said lube it to assist it works to help break the bead.
Failling that set fire to the B4ST4RD n burn it off

Did you swear them little f*****s out. Glad youre sorted and buy your dad a beer via your mum
-
You need to join in with your dad with the swearing and see if you can swear it out
You most likley will have to drill and tap n die it out.

I think we need to embrace modern technology and just play online. no long journeys, cleaning, repairs.
Why not give if short say two riders a free entry and let one observe whislt the other rides a lap then swaps for the next lap whilst wearing a bib to allow queue jumping. This is only a temp solution for on section.
I like me sport but would i go out in crappy weather and stand freezing watching, on the whole a boring thing to watch. NO
I also never take results for what they are as seen a few top boys get a 5 only to see it maked as a 1. A certain lady failed a section exactly the same as me on the Jackwood Kiwi some years ago, me 5 her 3.
I ride against me mates and we mark each other then amazed at the trial results some times.
That said if you do observer THANK YOU very much as i always say on me last lap.

Pinch flats happen when you have a tube in. I use tyre weld on me rear and it resolves the leaking rim tape for me.
-
This is no longer applicable as April Fools day is over.

Yep 200 possibly the best novice bike to start on. 125 are hard to ride in my opinion as they have no bottom end to forgive you that mistake if your not on it. Also a 200 will not be out performed if she does take well to trials.
-
Ive heard she has a terrible tongue, however ive avoided them for this reason so never been on the recieving end so to speak.
I reckon the four stroke love affair is over as you dont see top riders on them in the UK. Price and weight is the killer and wont change until as promised two strokes are banned.
-
Its getting on since they first came out with the news to which is over shadowed by Ossa. Still great to see British can make something and wish em well. Has the colour scheme changed as it looked awful to me on the pics.
-
Is it fact or fiction but ive heard that the Tanks on the 2010 were splitting. A friend said he knew of serveral riders he named had issues.
As for me pegs falling off its me gearbox that went last year if you like a laugh. That said its best bike ive had and im riding better than ever thanks to it. Just wished id not had 5K on me teeth or id have a new bike, or well looking good.
-
yep i didnt read your last post Derrr
-
Worth a try has it happened to me. The lead from the coil to the spark plug cap became a dry joint to which i unscrewed the plug cap nipped some cable off and rescrewed the cap back on to which fixed it.
Also had the fly wheel come loose which both are easy check to do in the list of things to try.
You can try temp most units on the bike ie 125 as its the mapping that different whilst testing.
Good luck

Dont buy the RTX as you may as well buy a field bike which will be more than likley better quality. If you want cheap buy a Gas Gas txt or a Beta Techno 90`s models. But be careful what you buy as most will be tired which means bike
-
Yet rides like a rusty nail
-
Its a drawing of an head stock from what i can see. Not much yet but maybe nice a Beta type frame with a Gasser engine.
-
The Venue is good but it is mainly the same sections trial after trial and on the 50/50 some are too easy, hence thats why a few of us went to Barnsley. We offered to help marking out a trial a number of times but it fell on deaf ears, ok we dont attend night meetings as they are to far to travel after work.
Im not bitching about the effort but some clubs do seem to lay out the same sections time and time again so as riders we simply try a different club if available, hence the Barnsley club had a decent turn out with plenty of new sections and quite challenging.
-
The bikes will give trouble if they have had a hard time as would anything. In practist a trials bike if cared for will be reliable as its not worked in general to hard on the engine.
Forget Scorpa as they are very weak in my opinion, stick to GasGas or Beta but a decent one.
Never heard of it on a GasGas but Beta did have issues with the case on the water pump side failing after 2-3 years.
Chin up and good luck
-
Forget mincing about, hammer and chisel it out. If that fails simply replace the engine with 2010 model sure fix
-
Love or hate Trials, but its about supply and demand. END OF
I must admit it is boring to watch and if im wrong then just go and observe as that would be an admission to the love of the sport.
Maybe in the 60`s and so on yes it was popular but times change and the indoor XGames surpass the days of kickstart.
-
The sport is possibly the cheapest motorsport in the world to do and compete at any level. It is mainly skill based regardless of machine as in know of a lad who had awesome skills way better than sponsered riders yet had lost interest in trials but still use to now and again compete on an old Scorpa totally knackered yet wiped the floor in a trial. I dont think the skill level is the same in F1 as they go around and around on the same tarmac.
I love F1 but rate WRC or any of road harder in challenge. Wonder how Riakkonen gets on in WRC interesting to see.
