  1. Anybody tried the h and d racing links???
  2. Heard everyone raving about these linkage kits, but as a bit of a noob, I was just wondering if someone could please tell me exactly where they fit and the pros and cons of them? TIA
  3. H and D have a 'works' master cylinder as well, do you think the brembo is better than this as well? Can't seem to find the brembo anywhere, do you possibly have a link for one please mate? TIA

    What's Next?

Just finished fitting my dual map programmable throttle body (turned out to be a nightmare to get to, air box off, exhaust off, injector out), and sorted out a few other issues with the bike! And hallelujah it started! (not quite sure why I'm so surprised, it is a Honda after all) but yeah it was a big achievement for me (first bike I've had to look after myself and only done oil and filter changes so far-young lad) Problem is, I don't know what to do next, I miss having something to work on! Any little mods like the removal of the tip sensor the I can do? Also on little bit of a campaign to get the weight down a bit (not because I think it'll make me a better rider, but because its fun!) so ideas here, also recommended Future and DDM parts would be good guys! TIA
  8. How do you take the tip sensor out??
  9. Hi guys just wondering what you think the best/essential mods are to a 2015 repsol 4rt? Apologies if something similar has been asked before!
  10. Tried all sorts! finally took the plug out and cleaned it and heated it up! off it went again! trying to order a new plug now! stupid me for not checking it first!
  11. it was a brand new jitsie air filter and didn't seem that and when i put it in!
  12. Hi guys, I have a 2015 4rt repsol replica and i gave it a service the other night, i.e. engine and gear oil, oil and air filters! It wasn't very good to start afterwards (normally starts first kick), but eventually did and ran very well! However, I've come to it today, and kicked it and it started and ran for about a minute and about 10 yards across the yard before stopping and it would not start again! I've put it back in the shed and come here, desperate for some help! I posted in general trials talk to hopefully get to a wider audience that should get me some help quicker! TIA
  13. So the results are in and are reasonably encouraging. I wasn't where I want to be, but if I can get rid of my 35 point first lap I'd be in a much better position. Hoping for a better start next week! Thanks for all your replies!
  14. I set flags out at home which is why i couldn't understand it! Think it was just the pressure of all the people watching but I also thought I was used to that from rugby. Oh well, probably something I'll just have to get used to... Sorry for being stupid and thank you for your reply, but what is WGASA???
  15. Hi there. While trialling today, I looked down to notice that one bolt had been lost from the carbon from pipe guard on my repsol rep. Thinking I must unscrew the other one when I get back to the van (having no tools on me and only one section separating me from the van).. Of course just my luck when I got back to the van. The part was gone... Long story short, any ideas for replacements other than the expensive carbon one. We have an engineering workshop on site, so can manufacture parts.
  16. Hi there. I was recently bought a 2015 montesa repsol for my 18th (extremely lucky I know), so since then, me and the thing have been inseparable, every spare minute was spent practicing (again extremely lucky to be living on a Lake District rocky farm). I went to my first trial today, and as I have been training with a seasoned rider, I followed him with my van. I got there and set up and decided to do the easy route and ride round with him (who was not doing the easy route)... I got to the first section and walked round it and decided it was fairly easy and certainly looked a lot simpler than what I tackled at home, returned to my bike, kicked it up and joined the queue. I was shaking and nervous. Needless to say I fived it. This set the tone for a very bad first lap (only one clear I think?), when we returned to the vans after the lap I 'had a word with myself' and then settled in, I then feel I produced a very credible ride for the next 3 laps (yet to see the results, but can count 15 cleans in my head!). I even found myself enjoying it with no nerves, just a focus on the job. I was worried about the trial as I thought I would turn up and people would judge my bike and then see how hopeless I was and immediately right me off for a spoilt kid, however th opposite couldn't have been more true, I found everyone dead helpful etc and can only say thank you to the trials community for breeding such a non-judgemental sport, having played a few this sport is a real sigh of relief... Spent the whole day with a smile on my face (apart from the first lap, losing my exhaust guard and then burning a hole through my pants and leg as a result)!
