  1. Your crank case seems to be flooded, take the spark plug out and earth it somewhere away from the plug hole for safety ;or if you have a lanyard type kill switch remove the magnet from the switch and then kick over the motor a hand ful of times then leave it stood over night....next day replace the plug and it should start if your floats are now moving on the pivot pin.
  2. Nice to find someone that is not taking things too seriously.......your right you can get a clamp to fit on your swan neck type of tow hitch but I cannot remember the manufacturer...........someone on here posted pictures of one about a month ago .....do a search in the trials transport section of the forums.
  3. I am having the same problem with my McLaren MP4-12c ....you would think when you pay the kind of money we have for our cars that a Dave Cooper rack would be fitted as standard.
  4. The Championships at national and world level are the 'showcase' areas for the products to help promote sales. I would imagine that Jotagas has recieved more interest recently with the efforts of Oriol Noguera their supported rider; who has been finishing as high as 5th in the premier class of the WTC.

    About Scorpa

Scorpa has 300c engines after 2015 but a 2011 could have a 300cc motor..... get in touch with the importer of the SR models at Birkettmotorsport in Broughton, Cumbria and ask him to check his records using the frame number etc ...Scorpa is owned by the same man who owns Sherco and the motors are Sherco Motors basically........retrotrials.com has some information about Scorpa's history try there [Its in under the title 'Bikes' ....'Alfer'....'The story and rediscovery of the lost water cooled prototypes SCORPA ALFER' ...their story starts with a Spanish motorcycle called an Alfer but Scorpa are really a French concern ,although people on here seem to think they are Spanish because they are made in Spain and their development was originally carried out in Catalonia/Catalunya.
  6. You may find 7.5w will provide enough damping for you if you are in a cold climate.
  7. Any make [it does not really matter which one] of fork oil that is SAE 5W viscosity [Standard factory recommendation]........or whatever viscosity your personal preference is depending what the temperature is where you are riding and in which season you are riding. IPONE oils were recommended for use in Sherco trials motorcycles around 2005 ish so you're using a trial oil/fluid
  8. GasGas moto never made a 200cc.[although GasGas UK did sell a kit specifically for the PRO motor 2002 on that uses a modified 250 cylinder and is known as the 225cc] bike; they are all actually lower in capacity even on the PRO model bikes with the smaller motor that started production in 2002 ......your bike fitted with the motor that started off as a Villa designed product later used as a starting point by GasGas and developed by them over several years after Villa went bust is approx. 163cc and the model is called a 200 .....on the TXT PRO 200 motor the capacity is supposed to be approx. 175cc but I read somewhere that it is actually around 167cc that model is also known officially as a 200.....hope that helps.........the Beta trials motors are the closest to being 200's with a capacity of 199cc as far as I know.
  9. I talk too much; while you do not talk enough ......... Matteo have form....? section 5 at what trial.... where?....what year?
  10. No idea why you find it a struggle; it must be how you are doing it...it's easy to get one of the new type seals in to position and get a good air tight seal if you apply plenty of lubricant on the rim and the rim seal itself then go round the edges with a large flat blade screwdriver[ that has had the sharp edges knocked off with a grinder] and push the edges of the sealing band down under the lips of the well where the band sits. Work in a warm room and warm up the band in some hot water before fitting to make it more pliable. To obtain a good seal;the most important thing is to have the rim perfectly clean of all corrosion in the well where the sealing band sits.

  12. The tubeless rear rim tape is an air seal and it is not sticky as in it has no adhesive on it..............................the front rim tape is a protector to stop the inner tube being punctured by the spokes/nipples.
  13. A few years? How many years? A major Factor? What do you mean by major, Fast recharging points? How fast are these re charging points?........these will come....What will come?
  14. Electric trials bike ...electric trials bike..... electric trials bike..... electric trials bike.....electric trials bike.

    Beta exhaust leak

The thing that you are doing wrong is not cleaning the oil out of your exhaust system regularly.
  18. If you watch the sales of second hand trials bikes in the UK [not talking about new sales] on Ebay all the time then you would have noticed that people are not bidding as frantically and that bikes stay on there for much longer than earlier this year and also that sellers prices have dropped which suggests that the market is slow....there are plenty of trials specific dealers with secondhand stock on Ebuy not just private sales. twin shock trial bike prices have dropped on Ebuy and the halcyon days of stupid asking prices seem to have disappeared; at least for a while. It is probably slow because people are preparing for the sxxt to hit the fan with the Brexit farce and so they are not spending so freely....maybe they are concentrating on paying off their debts or saving for a strainy day in the near future....who knows ...but there has been a marked change recently.
  19. It does not matter where you buy from if you're buying second hand ....it is totally down to the buyer to check everything on the bike is as good as they want it to be for the money they are paying ....do not waste time asking TOR MOTO what he thinks, he is selling the bikes and will tell you exactly what you want to hear....if you have any sense you will disregard anything he says...... also knock the price down, trials bikes are selling slower at the moment. ....whatever you buy is likely to need a bit of work to make it work better and probably require a £100 or more spending on it to improve it. buy a Beta Rev3 and a later rather than earlier model 2005 to 2008;you cannot obtain piston rings easily for a Montesa 315 at present.and things regarding general spares availability for one is unlikey to improve any time soon.
  20. Fill oil halfway up the clear plastic sight glass on the kick start side of the motor...... if it has not got one put in 500cc of 75w wet clutch light gear oil or ATF Dexron III
  21. Now you are on a trials bike......just slacken the chain off until the top of the rubber tensioner chain slipper block has a gap between it and the underside of the rear swing arm that you can fit your first/index finger tip in and that's it.......the chain is too tight in the picture.
  22. Looks like that Bus should have mentioned that the money would actually be going to the new Global Navigation Satellite System [together with other bits and pieces not thought about] that is needed now the UK has been kicked off the members list.
