Good luck making your final decision.

If I was 6' 2" I would get 5.5"... Best of luck.

I thought I remembered reading that a Ti frame isn't allowed in TrialGP like the carbon fiber handlebars... Am I remembering wrong?

Where I feel that dadof2 is a little to critical of the cost, seeing how inexpensive it really is in comparison with every other Motorsport I know of, let's not keep going off on him.
In short it isn't that expensive, lots of volunteers involved, and even the bike and gear in comparison is inexpensive so people don't have a lot of room for complaint.
In my opinion it's really about budget and personal priorities. If trials really is one figure out how to make it work.

Sure sounds like the strait cut gears to me.
-
Still working fine for me.
-
Size and fit comparison to your last pair/brand?
-
Sounds like it isn't normal but can happen. I would go with Jimmyl's suggested fix myself. However I would think a new stock lever would be fine.
My 07 is my primary ride and never an issue...
-
I have Alpinestars and wouldn't call them thin, maybe average.
-
I am a bit eccentric and run stock... But if I was going to lower it I wouldn't go lower than 9/43... My 2 cents for what it's worth.
-
3 things needed to make the bike run... Spark, fuel, and air.
I find spark the quick check, then I go to fuel as its more often my issue (good at keeping my filter clean) and last air including filter and the pipe.
If spark coil, pickup, plug, wires, or stator..
Fuel could be the float, the valve between the tank and the carb, jets, etc.
If air I have found dirty filters and plugged spark arresters to have been my most common issues, but a bad mid pipe or packing can be the cause as well.
Good luck.

Interesting... I remember reading some time ago about, I think it was some IRC's, tires having a problem like this and it was the way the tires bead fit around the wheel was the problem. I wonder if Dunlops are seeing something like that?
If so it could explain why your listing 4 new Shercos all seeing it, I would guess that all of them would have the same type of wheel... would also wonder about the other bikes seeing the issue, if they all have the same type of wheel?
hmmm...

Nice. Thanks for sharing.

Pirelli MT43 is not one i would recommend for competition trials, very stiff side walls. They are really only good for street and trail use on much heavier bikes.
-
At the better price point the new Dunlop GP's are getting great reviews... They are on the top of the list for my next set.
-
That helps. in that case the only option I can think of would be to have a custom one built. I doubt you will find anything even close to what your after unless you have it fabricated...
-
The scratch and dent covers are about as good as you can do and not alter the bike in strange and or unpredictable ways.

This is great info, nice to hear the stock plates are good with the Dexron 6, sounds like it runs more like the Elf HTX 740. I would guess its in part because it is so thin like the Elf.
Will keep Dexron 6 on the list for when I run out of my current supply of Elf.

I know one guy that picked up new front forks and rear shock for an OSSA. But other than that I have only seen new springs and oil viscosity change.

I figured out the issue.
So it turns out I had 2 issue, and I think I know how I got both...
The first issue turned out to be my Bang Angle sensor, and was the cause of not having spark. When plugged in I get nothing, when bypassed I have spark.
The second issue turns out to have been caused by me pulling everything apart. Not sure if it was the former owner but it turns out that when I pulled the plug to check the spark the wire to the fuel pump was wrapped around it and was tugged just a fraction out of its connector and as I had not removed the fuel tank I didn't even see it as a possible issue.
After figuring out I did in fact have spark with the sensor bypassed I turned to possible fuel pump issues and so pulled the tank to check the pump. So as I pulled the tank the connector almost fell apart just half removing the tank so I re-connected it and the bike started second kick.
Thank you to everyone for your help.
Great bunch of people here!

Should have included that I checked that as well. Have the normal play in the cable and small amount of movement on the throttle tube before engaging.
-
Good thought but the bike wasn't upside down just fell far enough for me not to be able to pick it back up in time for it to stop running. I did check the air box just in case but maybe I should just pull it and the throttle body and give them both a good check and clean.
-
This is one of the fist things I tried.
-
I am confused, the only thing I have disconnected at this point is the bank angle sensor. I don't have anything else unplugged. I am also wondering if maybe I had spark the hole time and just couldn't see it, and am also considering plugging the bank angle sensor back in and having the wife check for spark again... (got the wife to check when I was kicking it over.)
