Hi Greg
Welcome to the forum. Are you the guy that came to Romoland last January to buy your bike? If so, how's it treating you?
Cheers,
Richard

Sirhc--
You wouldn't happen to know how much a rear fender is for that bike, would you?
Cheers,
Richard

I use a BP5ES in my 300 Pro all the time. If you don't use the electronic odometer you won't have any trouble.
Cheers,
Richard
-
I also have an 05 300. If I twist the throttle even a little when trying to start, it won't. Don't touch the throttle!
Cheers,
Richard

I don't understand why it would be a five?? Don't the rules say you can't remove your hand from the handlebar while stopped, but nothing mentioned about a foot?

Weenies to roast: $2.99. Bag of coal: $5.99. Drop-flap in rear of shorts: priceless! Right mate?

There are more riders in Ventura County than you realize...
As far as Shercos go, talk to Steve Storz at Storz Performance, he has had quite a few of them and can probably help you out.
If you would be interested in an '04 GG Pro Raga let me know. My buddy's got one for $4000.
Cheers,
Richard

Hey E99999999999999999--
Are you in No. CA. or So. CA?
Cheers,

When anybody else tries to start my '05 300Pro, they kick and kick. I tell them to not give it any throttle at all and it usually starts with the next kick. I rarely have to kick it more than twice, whether cold or hot, for it to start.
Good luck,
Richard

I'd have to vote for the spanking.

I don't know why your forks go clank, but I wanted to ask you a favor while you're still new to this forum: would you consider changing your username in order to avoid causing confusion? I have already had people mistaking you for me. I have been using this username for several years, or I would change it.
Thanks for the consideration,
Richard

The Indoor and Outdoor WTC's are so yesterday...Trials Central introduces the first Online World Trials Championship. Are you ready to rumble?

Has to be at the US World Round. Could be billed as a major attraction.

It would have to be quick, then, before Ringo gets kicked out!

The torque value I have for a 2003 Rev3 is 140Nm, or 103ft/lbs.
Another method is to tighten it 'til it breaks, then back off half a turn (experience talking here).

It's a well known fact that eight out of every five people are math illiterate.

Dammmm Ringo, how long did it take you to write that? It took me ten minutes just to read it.

11DEC05 in Perris, 14 & 15JAN06 in Romoland. Here is the ATA website.
Hope you can make it.

Nobody's going to describe the ever-faithful starter-fluid-and-match technique?
Cheers,
Richard

I use 1/2 qt of Mobil-1 5-30. The manual specifies 500cc, but the lesser amount works fine for me.

Stu--
I haven't tried it on my Beta, but many years ago we used a pair of vise grips as a shift lever on a desert bike so the guy could ride back to camp (we were many miles out).
As you know, as soon as you include a spare lever in your pack, you'll never break it again. The bad news is that something else will break. That's the law!

Also make sure the vent tube on the gas cap isn't blocked or kinked.
Good luck,
Richard

Nope. It's just you.
Cheers,
Richard
