The build up is really under way, I've just got back from Bangor tonight having watched Steve Colley and the Trialstar team (www.trialstar.co.uk)giving an excellent arena trial style free demo right at the marina front, nearly 2 hours of entertainment ,motorhomes and vans are arriving already, the atmosphere was electric. If you aren't booked to come over yet get a move on !! Have a look at the http://www.lightweightclub.co.uk/ site for a timetable of events. See you there

Just found a site that might help you all get accomodation sorted, it is the local Tourist info site for the Bangor area; http://www.northdowntourism.com Good luck, hope you find a warm bed!! Any trouble with the site e-mail them for their Accomodation leaflet to ; tic@northdown.gov.uk

Anyone coming across and flying from Leeds/Bradford should check out www.jet2.com, very reasonable flights direct to Belfast International, might be worth a look, you can save a packet depending on what time you fly in and out, a bit like Easyjet, the peak time flights are dearer. Count me in for the Saturday night shandys by the way!

Wouldn't miss it for anything. Anyone wanting to know what they are missing should buy one of Dabarama's Bangor 2003 videos in Trials Central's classified, only a tenner and apparently they are brilliant !!!!

Easyjet or Jet2 or others into Belfast International Airport and airport bus to Belfast centre for a fiver then train to Bangor for another fiver. Other flights into Belfast City Airport, BE, BMI Baby etc even closer, or ferry -Seacat, Stena HSS, Norse Merchant etc into Belfast. Bangor is full of guesthouses, hotels, pubs etc, some mad Bradford guys even camped last year. Check out the Ferry/ airline websites for details of travel costs.

I have been to World rounds in France, Spain and Ireland in the last couple of years , there was no entrance fee at any of them, just turn up and enjoy.Tickets are required for the Indoor rounds.

Trying to sort out the holidays to coincide with a few World rounds in Europe, anybody know where or been to the new locations for the French( Valdeblore), Portugese(Gouveia) or Spanish (Pajares)rounds. Are they within reach of any of the package holiday airports. The Bangor World Round in Ireland is already sorted, anyone needing advice on it please shout.

If you are in Edinburgh on the 3rd and 4th April, 40 minutes on Easyjet would take you across to Belfast and 30 minutes down the road to Bangor you could see the Irish World Round. It might be a bit difficult explaining that wee diversion to the wife but you won't see much better trials action on your holiday.
