  1. Hi there just a quick update on my 320 exhaust rocker ,fitted new rocker and found the shimes to be wrong size .i had 3 pairs in total from previous adjustments ,so found nearest over size and ground the top face down on a square sharpening stone only 0.0 something of a mm ,this was easier than I thought and saved me waiting 3 weeks for new ones . Not sure if I mentioned I also fitted new decompression mechanism as this has not worked for the last year or 2 . End result is a bike that is almost a pleasure to start ,easy to kick over and start. Before fixing decompression I was leaning on a tree with all my weight over the bike to be able to kick it over so this is a huge improvement. Just one negative , im not sure weather I can hear a ticking on idle. I wonder if this is something to do with decompression mechanism and it will have a short life like the last one . If anyone has any experience or imformation on this it would be appreciated regards ralphy
  2. Hi there sorry to hear about your attempt to fix your exhaust rocker it did look a difficult and tricky job , it's not a good design and is expensive for what it is , including mine i'v heard of 3 or 4 exhaust rocker faults with this bike ( it's not like the bike is popular or common ) . anyway I have just received new rocker ( 163 Australian dollars ) will attempt reassemble soon as , just hoping shims will be ok I have kept old shims so have choice of 3 sets if not will order new . Good luck with yours
  3. Hi there got the same problem, have just ordered New rocker . Let me know how you go with the welding looks very intricate, would it be difficult to make sure you avoid touching part of one of the roller ends , I am familiar with welding through work just not tig .very interested to hear how you go ,good luck regards steve
  4. Have been to two bearing suppliers today both informed me it's a special made for the bike , by sherco or for sherco it's a shame they could not make the bearing easily replaceable instead of buying the whole rocker arm looks like a common problem but only on the exhaust side ,maybe something to do with decompression
  5. Hi there sherco sell the whole rocker arm at two hundred Aus dollars just seems a little expensive for what it is especially for what looks like could be a common problem
  6. Hi there have taken roller bearing out of rocker there is no numbers or anything to help find a replacement
  7. Hi there have the same problem with my exhaust rocker (same bike 2011) do you have any info on the size of bearing and shaft
