  1. My New Gas Gas jtx 125 1995, so i am told, but i cant find any info about it etc, so if anyone could link me to some or tell me what it actually is then i would be most grateful Its french if that helps! Oly problrm is the back brake doesnt work, but that is due to the master cylinder being knackered so they gave me a new one with the bike so dad will be putting that on asap Other than that she seems sweet Be Nice to hear your opinions! My First BIKE :D Pics:
  2. Yeah i'm looking for something around the 95-00 age and realy a 125 or 200, wouldnt realy want a 250 because i dont need anything that big (yet......) and it needs to be in good condition for not alot of money
  3. erm you can phone the woman that i ride with who is a member of the club, and the fact that she is an english teacher helps pm me if you want her number YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE! i'm gonna get a subscription i think awesome mag especially seeing as i ride moto and mtb trials! There is also a club meeting october the 6th at 9pm at the comunity center at st christophe if you would like to come along and meet a few people
  4. yeah it does seem a bit expensive for its age and its a bit big for what i want, think ill keep a hold on my pennies till something a bit smaller and more modern comes along
  5. Where exactly are you based in france? you speak of atc st christophe and gueret so i guess you are around this area! And to be honest there isnt too much 'non stop type courses that i have seen, the randoneurs course at the 4 day would kill your lovely old bike! the zones are very hard etc but the best way to do it would be to wait for a club meet and ask about it there (when we finally have one!!!)
  6. Hey guys I am looking for a first bike, i have been riding a scorpa tys125f bike that my club lent me but the time has come to buy my own. I have found a good condition beta tr34 r for 1100
  7. HA! Its an awesome lake! especially with all the riders around for the 4 day! ahh hopefully next year i will be riding it
  8. The lake at my house? or the lake at sardent? and dude have you got a pic of yourself or anything? im useless and cant think of who you are
  9. Pretty fun! Makes me wanna go ride a skatepark
  10. well on my sections he was speaking perfect french so..... I didn't actually talk to him
  11. There was a french guy riding one around the green route at the french 4 day (Y) the bike seemed to start first time all the time, and ride well!
  12. The winning expert was on a Montesa 4RT aswell dont think that many people can say they arent competative anymore!
  13. Hey Guys! I thought it was an amazing trial, that went extremely well, apart from SOME, not all, expert riders being so rude to some observers that 4 left on the 3rd day because of it. I met some realy cool people (Mainly the Pearsons! A great big thankyou for the BBQ and Tim for letting me try your bike ) Well done Johny JAMBON! The sections were hard for the riders, the interzones were just as grueling, but i think everyone had fun so thats great I was observing for the 4 days, DAMN is it hard! Long days, but well worth it Now I'm glad of the rest Well not much more to say but hope to see all you guys next year when i will be riding Now Lets hear what you guys thought about it
  14. Probably, it was one of the last 2 sections!! I didnt see it i just heard about it after. Also a BIG THANKYOU to Eric and Ian who stayed at my parents <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> and took me with them to the trial It was a wicked day and you two are stars
  15. Was an awesome day though! Realy enjoyed it These guys do have some bloody amazing skills!!!! Anybody see what was going on on the last section for doug!!! They 5'd him! Big argument with 3 big yorkies and it was back to 2
  16. Yeah after today!!! Bloody amazing riding by mr lampkin!!!He looked the best when he was riding. But i couldnt help but laugh when a french guy said in french 'judt ditch the bike and get your walking stick' when dougie 5'd a section Was awesome to watch!
  17. The rain made it very interesting today Yhe first lap was very slippery and harder wheras the second lap it was drying out and the riders were coming out!
  18. Fuji? Bad day? dont bloody think so He was awesome!!! 2nd! Raga was having a bad day not even on the podium! Was such an awesome day tho
  19. WHAT????? You grind your own rims mate Send them away Golly! Gosh! you get your angle grinder wack it at about a 45 degree angle and rub it up and down your rim
  20. Too true! I was riding my little riding buddies beta 50 when the bike got like 50 times louder!!! (didnt think it possible ) Found that a bolt had rattled its way out from where the engline meets the echaust
  21. Why not? Black is the easy route! But if you are on about the 4 day then jesus 60km's of interzones pretty much every day The one i did was closed and only had 2km's of interzones Here in france you can do that! Its what i did for my first trial, its called the 'Carte Decouverte' (undercover) Which meant i could ride all of the zones ect as i liked and i could choose which route i wanted because i was 'hors classement' Unclassed
  22. I will be there!!! 20mins away from me I wont be riding tho Haven't got round to getting my 125 licence yet You will probably see me marshalling
  23. I did my first trial out out here in france on sunday! I was umming and arrring about what course to ride and in the end i chose the yellow route! out here the difficulty starts with easiest = black then yellow, green, blue and sometimes realy hard is red. I decided against the easiest just because i felt the black would have been too easy, i dropped 67 marks over 3 laps of 10 zones, but realy enjoyed it! It was a good challenge and was swelteringly hot, and just made it an amazing day! and i dont think i did too bad for only having 3 months of mototrials experience under my belt I think peoples opinions differ with age, because you have the older guys who just wanna get out on their bikes and ride around, whereas us younger lot want to go and be challenged!
