  1. I am not that bothered either, but it looks better than the current new one, which in my opinion they spoilt from the previous one !! But saying that, it looks a little Roverfied from the back, which i don't like.
  2. Best thing i have used is a soapy water in a spray bottle (a few drops in a bottle is all thats needed), this allows you to move the decals around very easily without them sticking and getting them in the perfect place, once you have got the desired position and as long as they are laying flat with no bubbles, just leave it to dry naturaly and then the adhesion will take place, if they do not lay flat, then a hairdryer will need to be used to speed up the process. This is what i do anyway, and it works a treat. good luck in which ever way you decide to do it.
  3. It definatley does feel like the site is a bit like this sometimes. With regards to the above, i find the search facilty does not work very well, for instance if you type in painting plastic or plastics, it does not bring the topic up for some reason. the top topic it brings up is "The best looking trials bike ever" that mentions "plastic" once. I may be doing something wrong, but i have tried several differnet things to try and bring the topic up as i know there is a direct match to what i am typing in to the search facility. In my view the search facilty needs to be simplified or something changing in the mechanics of how it finds things , that is typed in, or otherwise we will always get the same questions asked time and time again..
  4. Thats fantastic news, this site just goes from strenght to strenght, welcome aboard Mike .

  8. i ll explain what they mean. Email otherwise known as Electronic mail.. a system of world-wide electronic communication in which a computer user can compose a message at one terminal that is generated at the recipient's terminal when he or she logs in. IM otherwise known as Instant Messenger.. An instant messenger is a computer application which allows instant text communication between two or more people through a network such as the Internet. IRC otherwise known as Internet relay chat... IRC is an Internet-based chat system that has existed in one form or another since 1988. Networks are connected groups of IRC servers which share a common userbase. IRC is the net's equivalent of CB radio. But unlike CB, Internet Relay Chat lets people all over the world participate in real-time conversations. Telephone otherwise known as Dog and Bone ..Electronic equipment that converts sound into electrical signals that can be transmitted over distances and then converts received signals back into sounds , invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876, who first called it his "electric speech machine " I hope this answers some of your questions.
  9. Should have just parked near te road, thats where we parked last week.. Yes did the Manchester trial, awsome place, organization was fantastic, was doing ok on the 1st lap, put at start of second lap, drowned myself and bike in between sections, and totally wore myself out dragging it up the most slippy rocky section ever lol.. got bike started again but was knacked.. Will definately do it again.. and been told you can practise up there for a few gold coins Had a go at that underwater trials thingy. Didnt reckon much to it although softer landings. Enjoyed Dean head plenty to go at, Will prob be up there again next weekend if theres no local trials happening...going to meeting on wednesday night to offer my services at the stocksbridge trial. 12. 2nd gear weelies are easy, nice quick response from throttle and you can,t go that fast.. Roll throttle on up to a massive 5mph rolled it back off which will compress the front forks and then roll the throttle back on , and lean back wards, it will be a bit trial and error until you get the right lift, start off slow and work your way up the rev range until you get the correct lift . a nice long hill will make it alot easier and you can do it alot slower as well.... Have a Wheelie good time teaching him

  17. I had a Techno.. the only problem i had with it was that of the exhaust rubbing. When a hole appeared i used Milliput to fill it worked a treat, stes just like steel and then can be sanded down to smooth out... I would say it more of a bad design than bent subframe, its also down to the hangers, lugs on the exhaust.. Why i know this is because my bro had a go on my bike and flipped it, resulting in the subframe and exhaust being totalled, so he bought me a new sub frame and exhaust, i know i did no damage to the subframe whilst i had the new one on, but at the time i was practasing 4 and 5 foot drop offs, this resulted in the exhaust hangers/lugs bending towards the wheel, then rubbing the the exhaust,, no matter what i did, with spacers and bending of the lugs sorted out this problem.. This was the only downfall of my techno, which i loved dearly and is still one of my fav bikes ....
