Hi,
This will be my 1st time doing a multiple day event. (Thats if i do make it after the 1st day , then i can call it mi 1st Multiple day) so has anyone got a check list on what to prep, and take with me as gear and spares ect.
-
If its only a few hours old, take it back to the dealer in its original condition.
-
I had the same problem with my 07. Turned out to be that the drilled and tapped mounting hole in the center muffler, by your left leg when riding, wasn't deep enough and the exhaust was loose. The sound would transmit right up to the steering head. Drove me nuts, {short drive}. Put a washer under the bolt, problem solved. Good luck.
Ill give anything a try.. Thanks

Try here if you can make it at the week end. British rounds been held here on a number of years Cowm Back Quarry . And accomodation would be available down the road. But saying that a number of years ago, we asked if we could camp at the quarry, and they said yes and they have steel containers.. not sur if they would let you stay now, but worth a try.

Dont listen to the pumpkin mate he,s really got a gasser haaaaaaaaaa. anyway sounds like jets could have some dirt in them . Pull the carb off and give it a good clean ( something else pumpkin would like ...Im on fire ) also if fuel is old replace with fresh , a clean air filter wouldnt go a miss. try the basics first and if you dont have any luck ask someone else
One thing is for sure. I would NEVER have a LARD GAS...
If the bke has been lie this ever since having the mod done, i would put money on it being the float hight been over adjusted by the dealer and starving te engine of fuel. I did the same when i did the mod on my bike that is now your bike. takes to mins to fix ...but saying all that the bike did fire back up once fuel got back through...
Oh and by the way , who is the chap that wanted to strip his bike down in to a thousand bits ?? Only for the Pumpkin to ask if he had actually put any fuel in his bike.. His name is the one and only dopey LEGGINS Doh !!!

Thanks, but i can not find them on either site , i will keep searching the world wide web, they must still be out there some where ??

Hi,
Before , I have come accross a lever that can be used both as the clutch and brake lever, but i can not find one, now that i am after one. I want to carry one around with me in my tool bag just incase of an emergancy, as it saves carrying 2 levers around.. Anyone know where to find these ??
-
Its a shame, because he is a real nice lad willing to help anyone, and a superb rider.. !!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the tabs on tangs for the float may need closing slightly. One of the mods to help stop the leaking has the tab opned more ...

Mansel had big big boloc*s and was one of the best overtakers of all time IMHO.

Thought i would do an oil change on the car, drained the oil, removed the oil filter, replaced the drain plug and filled her up with with nice new expensive oil..... FORGOT to put the new oil filter on.. Oil everywhere, what should have been a 10 minute job turned in to 2 hours after cleaning all the oil up and jet washing the whole drive
-
Of course i do trust you NOT.. ha .. Only Joking, got mixed up with something and was not sure which way round thats all....
-
Thanks r2wtrials and bad fruit. But after a little more searching, i have found one a little easier on the eye on the screen. Click Here

-
Yep, checked and all is fine with those bits ..
No i haven't noticed anything odd, the bike seems to feel like it always has done apart from this knock. i have not checked the engine mounting bolts, i will, but very much doubt it is that, it feels to be from the top end, but saying all that, what do i know, nowt , that is !!
-
Hi, i still have some sort of knocking on the front end, i have changed the head stock bearings , but no idea where to go from here . The knock is from the upper part some where. Any ideas what is wrong ??
