  1. Have you checked your water pump is working?
  2. I’m not sure why, many are, but they understand the sport. Mr Champion in his country, try stating facts rather than pointless fiction. Maybe in future be more critical about your own abilities rather than slagging others off.
  3. Well that says everything. Another keyboard warrior. The point – based on your theory, if everybody isn’t riding the top level course their trophy hunting. Jack Price wins Trial2 – moves up, Irwin won this year – unknown at this time. It’s clear you don’t understand the jump in level between the two routes. You normally move up routes when you win the course you’re riding. Personally I’ve done that myself and now classified expert by the ACU for many years, having ridden British youth and adult when I was younger.
  4. Do you win every round you ride faussy? Any? Clear that he improved no end during the season, but to say the British lads gave him a wooping isn’t fair. Agreed with oni nou, if I could choose I would prefer stop allowed, it enables you to go bigger and harder in competition. But most riders in the UK don’t seem to want this. Can’t disagree more, it’s insulting to even think that about the Brits, to make this level they have given plenty of ‘easy wins’ away by moving up class after class
  5. Do you mean Casales? Looks like he did well to me if so - http://www.trialscentral.com/results/uk-trials-results/2015-uk-trials-results/2015-british-trials-championships-results/269-2015-british-trials-championships-final-standings/file My view is that it wouldn’t be hard enough if it was solely muddy climbs and cambers. Did you go to Tong the past years? Did you see the waterfall group of sections? They were muddy climbs etc..
  6. Better weather, plus they evolved the sport rather than dwelling in the past
  7. What don’t you like about the indoor series? Have you never liked indoor? From my prospective I find it more enjoyable and technically superior to outdoor, especially due to the fact you can analyse all the riders (taking it in turns), comparing their techniques to others. It’s just a shame the UK doesn’t have any domestic indoor venues so the local lads can improve their riding outside of major competition. Andy – Who should we enquire to/Push as individuals regarding a 2019 UK indoor world event? Is it for the ACU to bid, or does it all sit with the FIM and promoter?
  8. And what is my view point? I'll tell you, to be supportive of any sponsor or series to my/your sport. I agree it would be nice to watch all the rounds on youtube, even live online, but please point me to the sponsor knocking down doors to allow this? The world runs on money unfortunately, this means the events key objective isn’t to show people who haven’t walked through their doors the event. In trials terms its often local business/shops just supporting local culture and people, which means showing a banner online to people in the USA with a local insurance firm, or local trials shop isn’t even on the radar. And to be brutally honest, negativity within the scene is killing trials. Especially on the internet, give somebody a keyboard and they are better business men than Bill Gates, better investors than Warren Buffett, better sections setters than Martin Lampkin and better riders than Toni Bou. Who wants to watch an Indoor trial, even travel 1,000 of miles to watch it live when somebody on the internet said it ‘Sucks’ The community needs to be supportive and not negative all the time, the Spanish are showing us up in more ways than one. Be supportive, travel, and maybe that supporter will knock the doors down in years to come. Let’s face it, we all should be going out and buying Beta’s to support James Babill, give him some negotiating power when it comes to next year. And just to drive my point home, as you guys have noted, TVfim did show the riding online, but stopped, something wasn’t working.
  9. More pointless typing. You now have the capability to go and watch live or not. If you still don’t like it at this point get a loan/mortgage the house/etc and as you know what you are doing be next year’s major sponsor. The current people are doing a grand job and the sections looked fantastic, can’t wait to see it live.
  10. It would be nice to have it on youtube like TrialGP, but based on youtube advertising it isn't worth it - Number of total Subscribers 115 Number of Total Video Views 16,784 Total estimated earnings $43 Average Earnings per Video $1 I'm just pleased and thankful that the FIM and 2play are supporting these events, hopefully I'm doing my part also attending two of them. And I'm sure as usual youtube videos will follow in the coming months for general coverage.
  11. And?!? It’s a link to the official media source that I assumed was far too hard and onerous for you to find before bashing on your keyboard. That’s it; just complain about somebody else’s hard work. Why not be supportive of any advertising or support others bring to the sport of trials. Why don’t they just stream the event? Because the business model they decided upon when providing the financial stimulus to the series didn’t warrant giving the media away for free, respect it. This forum is just becoming a place for people to do nothing but complain about others that keep the sport alive. If you want to see it, get yourself to an airport and support it, better yet turn your phone on when there and stream it for all your mates.
  12. Obviously he is, he's an ex world champion. But if he rode 6 top national events, such the British Championship and S3, he would lose more than 1. Understand my statement; the trial isn't set to be at top national level, its set to be a top national endurance event for both rider and bike. Where, as shown by Ross Noble, beginners to the sport can finish.
  13. Dougie lost 1, and all top 5 lost under 20 for all 6 days. This isn't at top national level, but is an endurance event.
