How are the nilos rings working out?
Is there any modification required to install them?
thanks,
phil

What type of grease is working best on Ossa suspension linkage? Lewisport says to use waterproof silicon grease...from most of what I’ve seen on this forum, I believe most people are using a multi-purpose waterproof grease like Bel Ray.
thanks,
phil

I hear some people are running dot 5, silicone base brake fluid, better clutch action than mineral oil and there no compatibility issues.
-
What I was told by Lewisport is there are 2 maps, the computer will switch from 1 to the other depending on throttle position, very small change, unnoticeable. Nothing like the Vertigo, muiltipal maps in different gears....

What is everyone running for gear oil? my supplier said to use type F automatic transmission fluid.
thanks,
phil.

Your probably right, but with the swing arm bushings being shot I had everything apart so I figure I might as well have it freshed up.... It’s piece of mind for 75$, preserve that expensive Ohlins shock.....
-
Drop the shocks off today at the rebuilder, $200 for inspection, oil, seals and a new bumper/ co2 charge. After removing the forks I noticed the headset bearings feel dry and notchy....looks like that’s coming apart next. Sorry Breagh, got to go through the thing before I work it over....or it works me over. Lol.

Ok, I got it, can’t believe how rusty the axle and bearings are for a 2015!!!
Need help on suspension now....
does anyone have oil weights and amounts for the Marzocchi forks and the Ohlins rear shock?
-
ok, got mine rear wheel apart and it too takes 3 bearings. 1 wide and 2 narrow on the drive side.....I’ll be calling my supplier in the am.
Next question i have is on the front wheel, what’s the best way to get the axle out? I have everything apart but the axle seems stuck in the wheel bearings, the axle floats back and forth in the forks but tight in the bearings.
thanks in advance,
Phil.

Ok, removed the disc guard and it came apart just like discribed, thanks.
Next question is on the wheel bearings, I bought a set from my local supplier qty 2 for the rear but noticed online they called out for 3 bearings?
-
Ok, thanks for the clarification, I will try again tonight.
-
Thank you to everyone!!
Funny, I was just trying to remove the rear wheel this morning.....so if I understand you right I need to remove the rotor bolts In order to remove the caliper and bracket assembly....I’m also assuming you must disconnect the brake hose to get the wheel out?
-
I Like that air filter idea, my air box is ugly right now, I guess I just have to be real careful as I clean it......

On the broken lower right side exhaust bolt I was thinking I might want to increase the size from 5mm to 6mm. This would help prevent another broken bolt and allow me just to drill and tap the exsisting oversized hole. Anyone else had issues with loose/ broken silencers?
-
Thank you, your help is much appreciated.

Looking for tips and tricks for 2010-2015 Ossa TR’s. I just bought a 2015 TR250I and am in the process of going through it, replacing worn out parts. Thanks to a local parts supplier, so far it’s going pretty good. Biggest issue I’ve ran into was the silencer had a broken bolt stuck in the aluminum and a broken bracket on top for a clip type nut.
