  1. As soon as I get them I'll post them on TC and BAMCC.
  2. Not sure I get your point but if it's distance from the airport to the venue the why not fly to Inverness and drive from there? It's about 100Km. You've also obviously never been to Fort William before. The whole town does welcome this trial and other trials.
  3. Gutted to be missing it again this year. I do love Craiglash even better with the wee bit of burn thrown in. I'm downhilling again at Innerleithen again. Remember the practice/training day at Tillyfourie the following weekend too. Donald, it would be good to see you out on the bike.
  4. The fan is most likely on it's way out. They are pretty well sealed so lubricating is very difficult. In fact I've never managed. Shame it's not so well seal that water can't get in in the first place as that's what's knackered it most likely. You'll know when it fails as the screeching will stop.
  5. Why not come up to Aberdeen and ride some of the club trials? They are pay on the day and have a class to suit everyone. Only the intermediate and expert are at all tough.
  6. An ACU database would be easier. Then I'd feel I'm getting something for my money.
  7. I have a Yamaha which is pretty good! Never liked the Honda's so much and can't comment on the others I'm afraid.
  8. Far be it for me to moderate a moderator but I see no place on here for islamaphobia.
  9. In case you missed it, the regs and entry form are now on the front page for the trial on the 3rd of April at Craiglash Forest.
  10. The SACU is the ACU. Scotland is just a ACU centre. Why it has a different name, offices, fee system and the likes i don't know. I'm going to make myself unpopular here but I do question what membership of the SACU/ACU actually bring me other than hastle and cost. I've not known any one claim the insurance it provides and maybe it's great but knowing insurance companies it'll be nothing special. As it happened I have Personal cover that would support me so it's only 3rd party cover that's being added by the organisation. I could find public liability insurance for my local club members at less than
  11. Simple gearing really. A big sprocket give faster acceleration less top speed smaller one less acceleration higher top speed.
  12. This topic has been done to death over the years, let's not start it again. If in doubt mix semi and full 50/50 and make do with semi-fully synthetic fully-semi synthetic.
  13. There are buses from all around town to and from the venue.
  14. I think this topic has run its course and got well off the original point. Time to close it me thinks.
  15. I have experienced a similar noise a couple of times on my gassers and on the first occasion did as you are doing. It made no difference and turned out to just be pinking due to poor carburetion. The second time it was a different bike but I was sure the little end had gone. I spent a good few hours cleaning the carb and setting it up again and the noise disappeared. I hope you haven't wasted a lot of time on this only to find as I did that it's just setup. It was far worse when hot and it was overheating too as it The noise is so convincingly mechanical it
  16. I bet you would have said that when you had the Raga too though. That's my point. If this or your next Beta starts causing you problems you may change tune and start slagging off Beta. All bikes have problems at times and all I'm saying is that you've gone out of your way to slag GG because one of your bikes hit trouble. It's fine to share this experiance but not to slag off the brand for ever because of it. I've ridden GG for many years and had very few problems. Most that I have had have been my own fault. I had a techno many years ago and it was nothing but trouble. I still look at Beta and all the others when I'm changing bike though. Doesn't do to be blinkered in this game.
  17. Well done Kev for getting in here and telling it like it is. Good to see the importer giving direct feedback. Personally I've always found everyone at GGUK to be very helpful. I think Benbeta23 (who was until recently gasgasben) needs to stop slaging off other bikes just because he doesn't ride one. So it will be OssaBen and beta will be **** too.
  18. I can't remember the TXT guard mount very well but seem to remember that it's part of the air box/seat unit. If broken the whole unit needed replacing unless you fabricated something to screw or rivet on to take the nose of the rear guard. If however it's just the bracket on the guard itself I do remember them as just being a steel bracket on the guard. Replacing the guard would renew that bit. Someone with a TXT or a better memory than me. please help.

    Lejeune Bros.

Good on her! I saw her a few times last year and didn't think she's keep going let alone come back for more. The girl's got ball so to speak.
