the bike has been back to feet up been to acklams next to lampkins if you cant even do a lap of a trial without taking the plug out and clean it there is something wrong somewhere. Also lampkins dont open on a saturday so thats two days off work to take it and then collect it
Checked and double checked everything i can think of and the only thing i can now see is when the choke is removed from the carb there is no sign of the brass rod but put it back on the carb and it shows about quarter of a centimetre of brass between the plunger and the plastic surround. Fix it and sell it back to my two strokes methinks
Rev 4 250 with standard jetting and checked by Acklams after half an hours running with a brand new plug is choking up and running as if the choke is on Plug is very black and sooty and have made sure choke is off as i know it has three positions. Any suggestions please folks this bike is really getting to me now
I buy mechanix gloves at about fifteen pounds a pair and the last two pairs are still in use after two years unlike the hebo boots I bought at the same time and the on and off trousers which lasted a year
Try humberside hawks next trial at wilsons near the Humber bridge we run a very easy green route for all beginners and have already got one young lad with a smile back on his face eighteenth of December and details on trials central calendar or our website and you can ride as well in the same trialcheers neil
Are there any Youth specific beginner dead easy trials coming up anywhere??
I feel that my son is not yet ready for the easy route on our normal club trials, and was looking for something to take him too that he's got half a chance of doing ok in to build his confidence up.
Or indeed a 'non' youth specific beginners/ dead easy trial would be good too.
I realy don't want to just throw him into something thats too hard and him have a miserable day.
He's nearly 10 and rides a beta 80 big wheel if that makes any difference.
We are based in the east midlands but dont mind a drive for the right event
