  1. oh i dont know.......i mean weve could have swopped the scottish for the french!
  2. but can you use it on your shire horse barry ?!!!
  3. with on that one one tordi...fantastic night/venue/riding/sections/atmosphere..........but those bloody commentators....its enough to make you self harm
  4. The law is on your side anyway scoobie. caveat emptor or buyer beware as is more commonly known. Unless you sold the bike with a warranty, which obviously you didn't, in my opinion he has no come back I too smell a rat
  5. Irn bru...what a truely awful drink...could only be made for scotland actually tastes like rusty nail water...now dandelion & burdock ...thats a real mans drink!!
  6. As this is my first year i've recently recieved my acu licence form in the post. Do i have to renew like last year with the photo and getting it signed by the club and all that or is there just some box you tick? asking more in hope
  7. still be interested in what sandifords had to say.............
  8. high...?...sheffield wednesday actually winning away more than once in a season for me, is frankly amazing low?...got to be the ashes at the moment I was going to add something witty about scotland being beaten at something but as i have no recollection whatsover of scotland actually qualifying for anything then i can't !
  9. Had a go on my mate brians new 250 gasser recently and the new 4rt at the sandifords gig the gasser is edging it for me at the mo
  10. Ok...my tenpennath I went on the day so am qualified to pass an opinion as opposed to this "I didn't go but i think...." malarky which is kinda pointless. 1. A tenner for a test ride is a cheek...whatever the product. Marketing is designed to get people interested in your product and as such should be absorbed. 2. There were only 3 sections. Two were riverbeds and one was a muddy slope. They cut up badly and i was too busy trying to get the bike through the section than i was concentrating on the charecteristics of the bike so that was was kinda defeating the object. you need a free ride section ! 3. If youre going to do food..then do it, if not dont bother. Cold butties in december in skipton would not convince me to part with my hard earned. 4. Dougie was fine, i chatted with him and his dad for about 10 mins. Not many 7 times world champions would do that...whether they were being paid or not. 5. The organisation was fine (i.e you got on your bike at the allotted time) but sales wise i would be surprised if they got anything from that. Twice i heard people ask who it was they were supposed to talk to about buying one and recieved bemused or confused looks 6. The bike....?...its good...but i'm not sure if its that good because of the sections i used. 20 mins at back cowm would have been far more enlightning as i could have compared what i do on my current bike on the same terrain. All this is genuienly meant as constructive critisism and not keyboard warrior stuff and i would be interested in sandifords feedback from the day cheers jez.
  11. Try www.manchester17.org.uk for details of their hawks nest practise ground.
  12. yep thats me too...but I am hoping to move up from hanging on to jeezuwept...
  13. I agree, name and shame and let us vote with our feet (and wallets if we wish)
  14. Is that just off Stocksbridge by pass ? If it is, thought they was getting the big diggers in there or do ya mean in the woods ? no dougie in the bottom at beepcar just before the bridge heading towards the bypass. Turn off to the right and pass the Low woods club. It has been sold and is going to be developed for housing
  15. MD for a care home company that owns and manages 10 units throughout the north west. Specialise in elderly, continuing care and intermeadiate rehab. Before that 7 years home office subcon to immigration/NASS...could tell you..but then i'd have to kill you !!
  16. spoken like a true yorkshireman dougie !!! you lying get !!
  17. Got moved on by the police at the deepcar end of wharncliffe a couple of months back (near where the old station is) that old tire dump/quarry bit. The officer was very pleasant and said he never had any problems with trials riders (i was just impressed he knew the difference !) but they had been plagued with crossers and enduro bikes ripping around at high speeds mainly in the woods/fire tracks so everyone was now moved on. same old....same old eh ?
  18. The land at the back of trax in preston is available but they want
  19. yep...about 3 weeks ago sat at top of t'hill at back cowm quarry, lovely sunny day, could see for miles just spent 2 hours riding about and i looked down the valley contented thinking "there is a god....and methinks he rides a trials bike"
  20. is that "I'm the only trials rider in the village you know" or "does my bum look big in this ?" place your vote now !
  21. your question whilst not being rude mate, does come across as smart ar$e..'age of technology' and all that. These guys have spent along week in unpleasant conditions, so your comment evidently hit a nerve. Not quite sure why youre so offended and also what difference does it make if you get the results on monday, tuesday or thursday ?? is that lucrative repsol sponsership deal hanging in the balance ? After a week trudging round skyrakes (which is bleak in the height of summer in my experience) then i think the guys have earn't a night off and a couple of dont you think ?
