  3. Hi Dough: Depending in where you are in Andalucia there are many classic trials pilots there, and some trials in the year, my motoclub Sotobike arranges the Spanish Classic Champ. and we make a round in Jaen. There are very few Pre-65 there, but the interest in this bikes is now starting, I have a friend in Cordoba that is looking to buy a BSA or Cub. Will send you names and phones by PM.
  4. I think Bilc0 is what we know in Spain as a "Gafe". Gafe = Somebody that; machine he touches, machine that will break down seriously soon for shure In Motocat forum there is a post with lots of pics from Cabrianes 2008, even a pic about the condition of my left hand in the race (the perfect excuse for not winning).............. http://motocat.mforos.com/1122504/7812342-...ianes-08/?pag=8
  5. Thank you bultaco49 and Woody; I will try to go next year to the Classic Off Road Show at Telford if there are no classic trials here 24 & 25 of January. As Big John says: ""Oh go on then, another Sherpa won't hurt!""
  6. I went to Stafford in 2006, but it was in April. There where very few trials bikes then, that

  8. Hi StuEssenhigh: I have posted about this place just as an example of how things can be done properly so there can be places where to ride trials bikes in public land. I know there are also restrictions in the UK, and maybe the idea can also work there. Now there are some villages in Madrid province and Castilla Le

    Honda Tlr125

In fact this is the first one he has made. Here everibody said Puma Racing was very good with 2 stroke but useless with the 4 strokes. I know he has built this one to shut some mouths...... Now he has a queue of Honda owners outside his place. Belive me the sound of that bike is so deep, so different, I think it is the nicest trials bikes sound I have heard (If a trials bike

Ho yes, thank you, it is exactly that bike. The owner sent me a box with the long seat inside, lights and all the original parts you can see in this photo taken from the link you posted. Now let me see if I can find usefull information for it
  13. A 340???? Mmmmmmmmm, let me see, that is my favourite twinshock..... and if it has the brake in the left side it can be the perfect weapon...... Maybe I can take another "factory rider" for that 240 Fantic in Exmoor and we can make a nice deal....... Robregordo will be just a month after Exmoor.......

    Honda Tlr125

Hi: I have changed one of my old Bultacos for this little toy; a TLR125 Honda. It is road registered and works quite well, it has all the original lights etc. etc. Any of you have an owners manual or any info about the bike??? I know nothing about it. It looks there where not saled in Spain, and here there is nothing about it available.
  15. Hi all: Recently a small village in Leon province (north-western Spain) called Pobladura de la Regueras, has declared a huge area as a "free trials land" for the next 30 years. And the use of that land is for FREE. The place is really a trials paradise, mountains, rivers, forests.... where you can ride your trials bike for free. In this site Spanish Champinoships, both modern and classic have a round, and is one of the nicest trials in the calendar. They have marked a route through the mountains of arround 12 km. and also marked some areas where you can set your sections for practicing. In todotrial.com there has been a nice report about this place: http://www.todotrial.com/ttactual/reportaj...a-pobladura.htm The village is tiny, a good example of the deepest rural Spain and in my opinion a perfect place for a very, very cheap trials hollidays. The only place to lodge in the little village is Laecoposada, a nice place with 9 room, there is also a FREE camping place. Trials bikes are very wellcomed there, and there is even an indoor section ready to be used in the village. I think this is a new idea about how to "reasonably" use a public land for trials use for everibody, and a good example for so many places and people that doesn
  16. Thank you Lee, that is a perfect reply. I am shure now I can work it out. If it is an air leak, it must be so tiny, as it only happens when the engine rev. are very low and you open the throttle quite a lot. I will work it out this weekend. About the bike I think it is the last Fantic
  17. Thanks gtgasgas I will try that.

  21. Thank you Ross, sorry as I cought you with the feet out of the rest, but not really touching the ground....... It is a pleasure to travel to Scotland to race trials, but a special pleasure is to meet the people there. Highland Classic is a fantastic trial specially for the people and the "crayk".
