"Mr. Postman" has found a letter from Edinburgh for me in his bag with the number 65 So I will start same time with OTF but different routes.
Slapshot I think the man called BJ you and me know, are different men, as the grip on the wallet of the one I know is no tight at all. I know some others with a real strong grip.....
I have my entry with this little James 197 as my James 250 is still not ready. (Using my feet to finish Caolasnacoan).
-
Congratulations OTF
Edinburgh post has still not arrived to Spain, where we are all with our fingers crossed and checking the mail every ten minutes.
You will have a nice May; Pre-65, SSDT and Robregordo. If I get an entry for the Pre-65 I will stay a couple of days more to see the SSDT with you (so you can invite me to the beers .......)

Hi all: Sotobike is already working hard in Robregordo for the 2008 edition that we want to be the best twinshock trial in the calendar. This year with Bernie Schreiber racing and some other big names of the 70

Hi aitchie: That webb page comes from France, Bonaigua only told me it exists, and as BJ says; "the posting of that link was merely for the enjoyment of trials fans reading the classic section" no any othe hidden intentions.
Thanks for your link, nice photos there also, and some people I know.

Maybe you have seen them before, but there are some nice photos here. Some old friends........: http://oldtrial.moto-blog.com/album-1039.html Thanks to Bonaigua

New Zealand?? Bit far from Spain, but a place I would like to go once, and a dream to visit some parts of it riding an old trials bike.
-
TooFastTim: Look slowly.................... the engine is a TR-80. Not elegible for Pre categories. Also Reed valve in the admission...........
Slapshot; even me I need the help of this specialists. You would not belive how good is that bone............... sorry Ossa.
-
Hi EGJ: I am using synthetic 66-1, thats 1,5%, in my model 49 with no problems.
-
Have a look to this Ossa Pre-77 restored by a good friend, he has just finished it and I have been using it today for 1 hour and it is "explosive". The best Ossa I have ever try, even better than a TR-80. One finger operation clutch, perfect brakes, suspensions, explosive engine.... unusual for an Ossa.
I promised myself not to buy any more bikes for some time, but it is for sale......what shall I do??

Yes, it is a fashion now in Spain among the teenagers to wear all kind of Bultaco stuff; Tshirts, caps, pullovers, even books with Bultaco covers, and funny to see also how they admire the old Bultaco bikes.
-
Hi all: As a member of Sotobike Motoclub I can confirm Bernie Schreiber will be racing next Robregordo Two Days Classic Trial 2008 on the 24 & 25 May. He will use a Bultaco Sherpa 199A from Carlos Bosch prepared by Puma Racing, a former Bultaco

Hi B.J.: Did I bought the book'????? What do you think??????....................
Of course I did. In fact last Sunday night I checked your book in search of this J.D. Williamson. I am now in Lanzarote island for business all the week, and reading this little yellow book at night, so when I finish it I can pass it to you. I think it must return to Scotland, and where better than in your library. But you must wait for me to go to Scotland to give it to you.
It is fantastic, I have enjoyed specially the "three stops trial" I never heard about that before.
It can be funny to know what happened to that book, maybe he selled it, lost it..... who knows.
-
Hi Bian H.: Funny but just 3 days ago I found that little yellow book in an old books shop here in Madrid. Trials Riding by Max King (Temple Press Ltd.) with a Foreword by Hugh Viney, first edition 1955. Lovely book, and it has printed in pencil in the first page the next: "J.D. Williamson. Edinbourgh". I was about to email B.J. to ask him about this book, but just seen this post. Now I am shure he will know J.D. Williamson and a lot of stories about him.
How this book ended in a Madrid
