Simple...read the Supplimentary regulations of the SSDT, it's all written down in there.
Its a no-stop event (ACU - TSR22B) so a stop renders the rider 5 marks lost!
If you run over a marker or touch it or knock it out, run outside it - result...5!
Others are 0;1;2;3.....
Simple when you know how!

In a word, Yes!
Single through bolt at the front, two rubber "buffers" or mushrooms fitted to frame boss to stop lateral sway towards the rear of the tank and the seat holds it all down when fitted properly with two rear brackets to frame and nose jam at front against boss. Nose of seat keeps rear of tank from lifting.

I had a 1969 Dalesman Puch 4 speeder, engine number 3690609. It was a specially built ISDT bike which Ernie Page rode in the 1969 ISDT at Garmisch Partenkirchen, Bavaria in the SACU Vase B Team.
Frame should be green in colour, similar to the green farmers used to paint their window frames with. Tractol did a very close shade in plant enamel, almost John Deere tractor green to be more precise.
Tank was alloy and I have 1971 style tank decals Dalesman - Puch with the union jack and chequered flag, but the 1969 bikes had a large decal with a Green flash on white background with the Puch roundel at the foot and "DALESMAN PUCH" in black block capitals.
Trials used the spindly Puch moped forks and front wheel laced to a Dunlop WM1 21 inch rim and M125 rear wheel with 18 inch WM3 rim.
My bike had REH forks and conical hub with 20 inch BSA satinised Dunlop WM1 rim and a centre stand.
Frames were all Renolds 531 brazed.

I have tank decals if these are for "Puch" and have the union jack and chequered flag background, I still have a few left (not many). These were manufactured from a perfect unused original.
I am srry don't have the Sachs variant, there were two types in 1972.

I have read on another two websites that Putoline Oils, for some years sponsors of the Scottish Six Days Trial are now major sponsors of Wrighty's show at Telford 2012.
Putoline are not known for older machine lubrication to be honest, so the way forward is not just a classic show it would seem.

The re-introduced SACU off-road One Event Licence (OEL) at £10.00 is available to riders who wish to ride SACU Closed to Club; National Restricted & National permitted trials, the only exclusion are Scottish Championship events where a full SACU licence or equivalent ACU/MCUI is required.
Riders must produce evidence that they are a club member or if the promoting club allows, mebership on the day of the event.
Riders must also have some form of identification, being a drivers licence, national insurance card, credit card etc so that this may be noted on the form by the club official.
The rider must be able to answer "no" to all medical questions otherwise the licence may be refused if there are doubts raised by answering "yes" to any of the medical questions.
The club official reserves the right to refuse the application on these grounds and that of non verification of the riders identification.
The rider must be an adult, youth OEL's are not available, a youth must hold a full youth licence to compete in Scotland.
SACU One event licences will be available for the Pre-65 Scottish 2 Day Trial and Highland Classic Two Day trials in 2012.
The SACU Trials Committee listened to what clubs and some riders wanted, OEL's are also now available for SACU motocross, enduro and Quad events at the same price.

That's not an Ayrshire registration "SD" its actually "DT" which is a "darn sarff" sequence, never mind though, I think the photo was taken near Tyndrum, in fact I reckon opposite the Royal Hotel on the A82. The photo looks familiar probably someone going home after an early Pre65 when the bikes weren't so fiddle and cheating as they are now...ha ha!

The RTL Motor number usually has the year e.g. 88 is the year of build 1988.

I have now carried out three footrest repositions on a 199A 199b and 199, all moved right down low and as far back as possible on the original flitch plates, using hangers sourced from Bultaco UK married to "Hebo" brand folding pegs.
The latest was the 199 which ace welder Richi Foss carried out and I think these will do the job nicely.
I'm 6 foot tall and when I rode the Sherpas back when I was young, I always had lower back pain, not any more, I rode several different Sherpas in Spain and all had lowerd and rearward rests, not a sore back with those.
