  1. I was followed home a few years ago from a trial and had the workshop broken into, luckily I disturbed them before they'd broke all the locks so didn't get the bike. Police had no interest at all even though I told them they must be hiding in the garden or nearby so I stopped up for a few hours in the bushes with "Mr Naughty Stick" but heard nothing else. I never turn into my road anymore if someone is driving behind me even though the bike is in the back of my van, and the workshop now has two alarms and 6 locks, be easier to break into the house. Hope your prize and joy turns up mate.
  2. I've not really realised what I've been doing until a few people have pointed it out. Aggression is obviously a key to riding the bike which I have realised I do, and as John said, shutting the throttle will pretty much always end in a recovery procedure to stop you throwing the fatlass over your head even in the deepest and slippiest mud section. I practiced winding her up and running the engine down and letting out the clutch on a very slippy bank and she went straight up as if it was dry. Possibly the aggression is to do with the size and weight of the 4rt compared to the 2 strokes but once you get that riding style into your head things become much easier, tense up and only input small movements things don't work nearly as well. As Timp said, these bikes are marmite, there is little or no in-between. I struggled for months with the first 4rt but persevered and it paid off to a point where I simply wouldn't swap at all now.
  3. I had to hook 2nd on Thursday for a section? unheard of!!!! rev its nuts off and feed the clutch in steady for the first 6 foot or so and keep it lit, she'll go up.
  4. His alternative was to do what he was voted in for in the first place, all of our Politicans forget they serve us not themselves or others who wish to guide them, he will pay a heavy price next week and possibly have to resign. Iceland did just fine and it didn't take long either, there will be Drachma's printed and ready to go within a few hours and I expect there has been for some years now. Freeing themselves is the only way now, what they are about to do will ensure huge hardships for most in Greece as there is only one cure and they've yet again forgotten what it was. I watched a video this week of UKIP's Nigel Farage telling him in the Commission what he must do and why and you could tell by the look on his face he'd already been got at. I have no issues with fractional reserve as such as there are little alternatives, its the interest part of the system that makes everything rigged and ensures someone fails 100%
  5. You need to stick with it, so many get frustrated and sell them before learning how to ride one. Once you do its great fun and for the big lap trials there's nothing better and no more need to p*** about with carburation.
  6. It now looks like the Greek PM has decided bending over and taking more for the next couple of decades is preferable to standing up to the Banks, I can see some major civil unrest tomorrow or in the week as he's now got a worse deal than before and has gone against the wishes of the 61%?
  7. Money is created via debt so all money is debt, a never ending and growing policy only the Banks could have devised for self gain. Its like monetary musical chairs, when the music stops someone is left bankrupt because the system is designed this way and its Greece's turn today.
  8. There by the grace of God goes I. Huge propaganda dished out towards Greece to win support for the rape of a Country and its people. Britain owes £1.6 trillion in debt, that debt is rising by £5 thousand pounds every second and we borrow over £10 million every hour of every day of the year, who are we to be so righteous.
  9. A man on a long haul flight noticed the beautiful young woman sitting next to him was reading a book titled ''Strange but true sexual facts''. "Interesting?'' he asks. ''Yes'' she replies, ''For instance, did you know that the American Red Indian has the longest penis in the world and an Irishman has the thickest? Oh, I'm sorry" she continued, my name's Helen & yours?" ... ''Tonto O'Connor"
  10. lol, one of Bernard's I believe God bless him.
  11. A lady went into a bar in Waco and saw a cowboy with his feet propped up on a table. He had the biggest boots she'd ever seen. The woman asked the cowboy if it's true what they say about men with big feet are well endowed. The cowboy grinned and said, "Shore is, little lady. Why don't you come on out to the bunkhouse and let me prove it to you?" The woman wanted to find out for herself, so she spent the night with him. The next morning she handed him a $100 bill. Blushing, he said, "Well, thankee, ma'am. Ah'm real flattered. Ain't nobody ever paid me fer mah services before." "Don't be flattered. Take the money and buy yourself some boots that fit!!..
  12. We live within a monetary system that never creates money for interest payments, its no wonder so many Countries find themselves in perpetual debt as there is never enough money to pay them all off.
  13. The lender of last resort will now wash his hands of the Greek people, highly illegal I expect and highly unethical. I hope the ECB/IMF and EU will make Greece's transition as easy as possible in the next few days (although unlikely) as the Banks fail and the runs begin. Imagine waking up tomorrow morning and the shelves in the shops are empty, no petrol in the pumps and you cant get any money out of the Banks? the EU needs to understand what has happened and let Greece do what it needs to do for its people and it needs to do that this week starting tomorrow morning.
  14. Where there's blame - there's a claim.
  15. Greece like many others should never have been allowed into the Euro Ponzi scheme, they are/were facing decades of hardships within a system that would never help them in the end. I'm pleased the Greeks have stood up to the EU totalitariates and the IMF, I think they had no choice in the end.
  16. You start removing the money from the right people to start with, not the easiest to remove it from.
  17. Never happen, the red tape, insurance, bureaucracy would be staggering, it would take risk assessment’s at every meeting, a highly paid panel to decide which first aid kits should be issued, a doctor on site to ensure the first aid kit was used correctly, a two week medical course for all observers, the list continues, I hate what this Countries turned into some times.
  18. Although more than likely in Afghanistan the women would be walking well before the man.
  19. The teacher stood in front of her class and said "right children, today we are going to look at the alphabet. I want you to name something beginning with a letter and then describe it to me. We'll start with the letter A" Little Johnny's hand was up in a flash, the teacher ignored him as she knew the swear words he was thinking of. She turned to little Mary an said " yes Mary. "A is for apple" she replied "very good Mary and what is an apple" "An apple is a green or red fruit"... said Mary. "Okay now we'll try the letter B" said the teacher, again little Jihnny's hand was up in a flash and again the teacher ignored him "yes Jamie" "B is for Bread Miss" said Little Jamie, "very good Jamie" said the teacher and what is bread" Bread is brown or white cooked dough" said Jamie. "Excellent" said the teacher, now "C" Yet again with Johnny's hand but again the teacher knew swear words so ignored him. "Yes Jenny" "C is for Carrot miss, an orange vegetable" " very good said the teacher. Now the letter D" Johnny's hand was the first up, the teacher couldn't think of a swear word beginning with D so she said "yes Johnny" "D is for dwarf miss" said Johnny, "excellent " said the teacher, and what is a dwarf Johnny, " He's a little fat ******* with ****ing big ears" said Johnny!!..

    2016 Cota Rr

Having been around Road Racing for a few decades what John has said is true. I've seen quite a few lads being given much better bikes for the track by a sponsored team and they actually go no faster and in many cases go slower, could I do any better on Bou's bike? probably not and possibly I'd be worse than I am now.

  22. A young family moved into a house next door to an empty plot. One day, a gang of building workers turned up to start building on the plot. The young family's 5-year-old daughter naturally took an interest in all the activity going on next door and started talking with the workers. She hung around and eventually the builders, all with hearts of gold, more or less adopted the little girl as a sort of project mascot. They chatted with her, let her sit with them while they had ...tea and lunch breaks, and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important. They even gave the child her very own hard hat and gloves, which thrilled her immensely. At the end of the first week, the smiling builders presented her with a pay envelope - containing two pounds in 10p coins. The little girl took her 'pay' home to her mother who suggested that they take the money to the bank the next day to open a savings account. At the bank, the female cashier was tickled pink listening to the little girl telling her about her 'work' on the building site and the fact she had a 'pay packet'. 'You must have worked very hard to earn all this', said the cashier. The little girl proudly replied, 'Yes, I worked every day with Steve and Wayne and Mike. We're building a big house.' 'My goodness gracious,' said the cashier, 'And will you be working on the house again next week?' The child thought for a moment. Then she said seriously: 'I think so. Provided those ****ers at Jewsons deliver the ****ing bricks on time!!..
