Had a pm from a mate earlier and he mentioned the 200's forks? this is the third person to mention the 200 forks are different or a poorer fork than the 250/290? can anyone shed some light on it please
  2. There must be thousands like that Andy Wheres this nut allergy thing come from over the past few years?????? seems like nearly every other person has it or summit like it?? I can't remember anyone having these when I was at school??? has it just developed suddenly? It must have else you would have heard of millions of people keeling over in the past from eating nuts I have to build some new kids play equiptment next week for a local play area, when I was pricing the job I noticed a big sign stating " No under 12's to play on any of the equiptment" now I recon the whole point of such facilities is to cater for the under 12,s mainly. When I asked why? got the H&S story, parents suing etc if little Jonny hurts himself , now I can remember me and one of my mates at about 10 years old having great fun on a huge steel climbing frame (concrete floor underneath) hanging off the top bars kicking the **** out of each other to see who would fall off first. One well timed and deadly accurate kick to the B*****ks had me mate cartwheeling down to the floor busting his arm in two places and I don't remember his Dad rushing off to claims direct after the incident? I had a swift clip though for my troubles and felt I'd earnt that
  3. Thanks for the 200 info lads, only just spotted this. Doogle cant wait for Sunday mate, loads of peeps telling me it will have no-where near enough power for me but I think they may be wrong these days, bikes have come along way and as both of you have said its improved your riding. I very rarely go to a trial where theres a massive 4th gear climb and chances are I'd not get up most of the time on anything so no marks lost there. Plenty of times I struggle to hang on and the bike is telling me where to go rather than the other way round (07 Caby) I will get some stick but hopefully I'll be giving it back in the results
  4. Yes you are spot on right there Andy, bloody shame isn't it and no going back now I fear, only worse. I did hear of a packet of Peanuts carrying a warning "Caution may contain nuts" says it all really
  5. Can't wait to read Copey's post in morning
  6. I'll turn it anyway mate if theres the slightest risk of any slippy tack
  7. I,ve noticed that in the past? seems to jump an hour at about 6ish every night???
  8. Jon, I think Andy is compiling a post as we speak, prob be ready Friday night hope the server is up to it? Keep yourself to yourself like I do and all should be well. I use some pretty dangerous machines in the workshop, chainsaws as well from time to time, I have learnt myself they could easy whip an arm or fingers off, don't need someone to tell me that, I respect the machines for what they do and what they could do to me,easy, yes i take what many might think are risks with them but only as someone who has learnt fully what risk I,m taking. I've had some close calls and learnt well from it,nothing gives you more respect and knowledge from doing something from learning the hard way. Brother started a job this week and had to deal with a new site agent, he's a fencing contractor and had a fence to put up across the middle of a field, had to put on a hard hat and fluro jacket??????? just incase i expect a stray train or lorry left the road into the field arf mile away and could see him, the hard hat obviously incase someone drops something out of a plane or helicopter
  9. hmmmm might stab yourself with that Jon, be carefull mate, best sit down for ten mins and work out what might go wrong first before you use such a tool, better still have a few slurps out of the Domestos bottle under the sink, its got a plastic screw top,far safer to open
  10. Bemrose is a great Trial although I had to miss it this year due to work. About 40 sections,1 lap prob about 35 mile loop and great variety of sections/groups, not sure on camping though but I would have thought stopping the night before would have been allowed. Theres no really stretches of road work, longest about 4 mile i think most is offroad and tracks.
  11. I have a few mates who work in maintenance for a well known stately home, they used to have to do 10-15 jobs a day on estate houses etc, changing a tap washer, blown light etc etc, every job they do now has to have a completed risk assessment form filled out before they do anything, what tools they will use, what hazards, they now do half the jobs. I would love to employ someone to help me in the workshop and I,ve got absolutely no chance due to H&S, B*****ks to common sense thesedays you have to go on a course and get told the bleeding obvious and heres the bill
  12. Whats the going like at Dews Farm Doogle? anyone? will i need to turn me tyre? is there lots of southern mud? me and Gerty don't like mud
  13. Andy, even if its a long post go for it,****e like this needs airing I wont be offended at all by any bad language honest!!! i could go on for weeks about ****e like this, be telling us which hand to use to wipe are arses soon, although I have always preferred using paper
  14. My daughter told me last week that the college she goes to is running a competition for students to design a Christmas card that the college will print. One of the many stipulations is it must not show any religious theme??????????????????????????, now I'm about as big an atheist as possible but for ****s sake, Christmas is a bloody religious time even for the non beleiver, wouldnt want to offend any muslims etc etc .
  15. Yer defo coming down, think Jon is coming as well, bubblewrap lol Is the postcode on the regs the actual site/start? ta
  16. Just found this on the web mate Berko regs Dews Farm, The Addict gets a go on Doogles 200 EVO
  17. Go with Ralphy on this, call the importer/dealer explain your concerns and if you get "its normal nothing to worry about" and it goes bang abit later you'll have something to go back on. The manual should state the oil level and type,be worth changing it now anyway as its had a little run from new.
  18. you sure its got enough oil in it after pdi?
  19. That lot comes with a Gimp mask as well so Ralph told me anyway? what a bloody hassle,

Thanks Ben, I know I'll like the 290 and have a kind offer from a TC member for a good go on one, need to try the 200 first else I doubt I'll have a go once the 290's been ridden. Be good to try a few sections Sunday after riding Gerty at the trial and see how much difference the 200 makes what i want from my next bike is plenty of grip, something I can keep up with at all times and letting the clutch go on full tilt without worrying the bike might be halfway down me back a second later Theres a rumour going round Ralph is getting a 290 this week and has already ordered a quick action throttle/lightened flywheel and 450 big bore kit and some nice gold bling bits
