Ah **** it then, no licence on day no ride....simple??? try turning up at Donny or Mallory race day without it and see how many laps you get? even though they know its cost you a minimum of 300 quid to ride
-
I,m going to keep me gob shut on this although I'd rather not, been here before
-
Hmmmmmm????? I know what you mean Brian, I hope it stays on ok
-
Get some other ****er to do it!!!!!!!
-
Stuck the new tyre on this evening and it was without doubt the easiest tyre I,ve ever put on the rear , bit of soap and it went on with only one pull of a tyre spanner . Double popped at 30lbs and I,ve blown it up to 70 over night. Looks abit wet Sunday morning for the trial so should get a good idea of how it grips compared to the X11
-
gjbiker, I know that feeling well
60-65 usually pops them on with abit of tyre soap, keep at 60 lbs over night allowing the soap to dry and its stuck fast
-
You sure most of the oil had'nt already left the fork so the bust seal didnt leak anymore as theres nothing to leak?
-
The H&D ones are the B*****ks, 80 odd quid though
-
Will stick it on tomoz and see how it goes Sunday, hope it works as well as the X11 and stays on the rim
-
Good or bad? just bought one
-
I was actually quite impressed how the Pro Gasser clutch is put together and how you can alter the speed/lightness of it by swapping the steel plates for thinner or thicker ones
-
Mark, the 2T version is rattly and not as much torque though
-
Removing two of the springs worked on my mates rev3, makes the clutch really light and really nice to use but will slip on a big high gear climb
-
-
Only time I have suffered with a bad back on a trials bike was when I got the Cabby, the bars were way too low once changed for higher ones pain went, worth a try
-
Almost as much torque as me 4rt
-
A great bit of riding from both lads, still not as good as Rossi/Gibbers last lap in Spain though
-
yes it can, needs to be everywhere in the silencer but pushed in firm not tight, snugs the word
-
Tombo, recon you must have bought my 06 mate problem after problem, the Gasser vids are really good and I used the clutch video clips only last week on a mates bike.
-
Good luck with sorting the bike fella, let us know what was causing the probs wont you
-
Sure someone more informed than me will let you know about the suspension settings as I cant remember on the rev3, but what were you doing riding over a hedge? lol. Suspension settings like most settings are a compromise and sometimes need tweaking for different terrain,
-
Make sure you have'nt repacked the silencer too tight, could be dirt in one of the jets as well so good clean of the carby would be a good idea
-
Kill switch can be git on Betas mate, disconnect and try again, are the reeds ok?
-
Stuart, not sure about that year but all the Rev3's I had you most of the time needed choke to start and then knock it straight off, are you sure the carb is really clean? you need to take care with the jets, plenty of carby cleaner through it and blow out with an air line. Are the reeds ok? and are the carb settings correct? jet size/float height/needle setting. Make sure the woodruff hasnt bust again on your first kick to start it, if its bust theres a good chance it will fire but stop once the wheel starts turning and goes out of the correct time. Make sure the stator is set in the correct position as well if youve had it off, the Lampkin site may have the correct position
-
Oh Dear lol
You'll have to log into your ebay account to see all the questions though
