Hi If it is carbureted - it could be the float level too high / or sticking = causing it to flood?!??!? jumbostu

  7. Cleaning makes you win the trial . . . !?!?! P.M.S.L Jumbostu
  8. Dont try to over analyse a problem straight away. Start with basics - Have you tried thoroughly cleaning, servicing and blowing out your your carb?? Any muck or water or build up of old gunge at all especially in your pilot jet will make bike run like crap!!! Check for any dirt / excessive wear / missing/broken parts / float height and condition etc... It should all be as clean and serviceable as a surgical tool!! Have you replaced the spark plug / ht lead or plug cap?? Good luck mate - you never know - a lot cheaper starting point than timing and removing flywheel issues. jumbostu Team Yellow

  16. Hi Had our a GasGas boy 3 year now - good little bike. If your floats are full of fuel they must be punctured and so will not be "floating" and so not cutting off the fuel supply at correct height - order a new set from BVM 01453 762743 and your fault is is all but cured - however this will have probably caused an excess of fuel in the crankcase which will cause it to be constantly "flooded" - take out ya spark plug - turn bike carefully upside down - avoiding damage to mudguard and pull kickstart lever steadily a good few times till excess fuel is discharged from cylinder - clean ya plug - maybe even warm it in the oven - and it should start as normal!! I have used this technique on a few bikes with great success. Good luck hope this helps Stu
  17. Hi I normally ride older twinsocks - but I have just bought my son an 05 125 Pro. Cant fault it - its a briliant little bike other than an over noisy rattly clutch?!??! Can anyone offer any suggestions as how to cure or improve this?? I am told that it is quite normal and I do accept that it operates perfectly - but it is startin to annoy me. Any help - hints - tips would be very much appreciated before I strip it for inspection. Cheers - Stu
  18. Rode the first Isle of Mull 2 day on my 280 SWM with my friend ScrumpyJack on his Fantic 240. Brilliant trial in the ultimate trials country. Our first sighting 2 mins off the ferry were a Stag and a Golden Eagle!! Proper sections that are all attemptable. Riding up around and on Ben More is something I will NEVER forget and will definitely ride there again one day. Mixture of old and new bikes - all super friendly as is any accomodation you can find. The local Steaks also take some beating!! As did the geordie bloke on his BSA!! sorry mate forgot your name.... We took a disposable camera taped to the number board and have a few superb snaps. If you get the chance to ride - grab it. You will not be disappointed. Regards Stuart
  19. Hi I have owned two Neval 125 trials bikes back in 1979/80 one was blue metal tank. Newer one was red fibreglass tank unit with a similar logo tick to Bultaco. I remeber them being heavy underpowered bikes. I visited their premises which were in Hull?? and was an old aircraft hangar I beleive. About all I can remenber as it was so long ago. Regards Stuart
