hi ive just been out today for the first time since fitting boyesen reeds in my rev3 . at first there was a noticable difference mainly on hill climbs. there seemed to be loads more power. After a couple of hours solid practice the bike started to lose power as if the clutch was slipping. I may have developed a clutch problem I did also notice the bike smoking quite alot ( yeah I know take its cigs away ha ha ) . I was wondering if anyone had had simular problems. could this also be a over heating problem ??
cheers Leggins

problem solved...I sold that bike and bought a 05 ex team pumpkin rev 3 although I did pay way too much !!!!!!

Thanks for your comments. Reliability and build quality is most important for my needs, I had considered also the 4RT but like the idea of the easier, cheaper to service & repair 2 stroke,. Ive heard the Scorpa build quality is very tough but then i know montesa must be also so i guess these two are top for build quality. I'd be interested to hear more about your sons Scorpa, Montman. I am having a dilema in my brain about what to spend my

Yeah another fantastic ride by Lee . I live in the same village as Lee and If he keeps this form up he,ll soon knock me off my throne..

Mrs has given me a playing out ticket for Sunday.. So i will probably be at the Trial..
Nice 1 mate you must be pushing all the right buttons .... If you have trouble finding your way to the farm let me know as Ive been before

Have you read the disclaimer about not being 100% waterproof. Wadind through streams is a little different from riding through the odd puddle. Therefore the use of that plastic bag from Next which appered when you got home from last sundays trial may be required

This coming Sunday ( 1st April ) sees the first round of the STOCKSBRIDGE MOTORCYCLE CLUB( is that better ? )championship at Dean Head farm nr Stocksbridge Sheffield . There are three routes , clubman 50/50 and expert. The show kicks off at 11.00 am . We are hoping for a show of support from ALL local clubs and riders. As an added bonus there is also cash prizes on offer for the championship winners so come on what are you waiting for......
I would also like to see a large entry of cr*p riders too as Leggins is sick of only beating D N F riders
See you Sunday cheers

Yes, it def is the footrests that wear them out.
It's just that Alpinestars last about three times longer than the Novogars.
If the new Gars have tougher soles, then I'll go for those again.
Its not my pegs thats causing the damage its closer to my big toe , if anything its the back break pedal. The hole is now full of silicone and with a new plastic bag on my foot I should be dry for at least a couple of sections next Sunday . Wow those Oxtar boots Look good enough to go out in ..

You dont spell twit with an A.... Had a great day mate cant wait for next Sunday when it will be back to norm with me being the butt of the jokes.............. cheers DP

Glad you enjoyed the famous Jack Wood trial .The lads at the Hillsborough club have spent weeks setting 50 sections with Dave " haggis " knaggs leading the way. I havent got the results yet but I did hear our local star Lee Sampson had lost just 7 . That would have beat me after the first 2 sections
So now I know who you are Betarev3 as you where the only one to make a mess of my section ( section 14 you know the one nicknamed the M1 ) only joking mate It took loads of marks in both classes.
Nice to also meet you Gissa5..... trials central one big happy family in cyber space
Cheers Leggins
ps when last seen DOUGIE PUMPKIN was seen scouring the country lanes of high Bradfield looking for the carpark.......LOST
