I will only turn expert after ive got my figure hugging one piece lycra beta suit Is the stocksbridge trial a road trial ? if it is I wont be doing it as Im not R R. I will however be observing so no sly dabs , using trees for balance etc etc but I will open to bribes so tell Ben to bring plenty of spends...seems a bit quiet on the trial front over the next few weeks so theres plenty of time to find that 8th gear eh cheers

no major offs this week I must be losing my touch, Although I did manage to whack my helmet on a large branch between sections 4and 5. It was yesterday that I found the little air vent on top of my helmet was crammed full of bark . I agree another good trial by tarrrn club looking forward to the next. I may even have my 270 by then . god Ill look fantastic on it

Ey up dougie lad.. Does this here 07 have 8 gears ??? seems that my old beta has only the standard 7. Although 7th is especially good for graded hill climbs I was told that 8th would do a job and get me passed the first 25 ft.. cheers Leggins

Id just like to congratulate the members of the Barnsley club for the trials that they have put on this year.I have rode in four and found each to well organised with a nice variety of sections. The lads and lasses seem to really enjoy their sport . Just one thing that bothered me was at a grimethorpe trial I kept wondering if my car and trailer would still be where I had left it otherwise all the venues have been first class. looking forward to next years events at tarrrn club cheers Leggins

I did nt envy you pushing it from there mate. Can't belive how bad i did at that trial,, i had no enthusiasm what so ever.. thing it may have been down to not shaking the cold off after nearly 5 weeks.. I managed to do that waterfall section for a 2, as opposed to a 5 on the 1st lap and knackering my leg up... but that was one of many many 5's that day.. Doing the Hallamshire this week are you ?? dougieeeeeee ( another spectaclar off ) I was in luck on Sunday mate . A pal of mine was taking photos at the waterfall. After seeing my chain plight he took pity on me and drove me back to my car in his beemer. Luckily he has full leather seats so all that mud I picked up rolling in the sections should just wipe off I was going to ride the barnsley on Sunday but if a few of the Hillsbro lads are doing the Hallamshire I think Ill do that. Any entertaining moments to report I ended up riding at penistone in the barnsley club trial. rode with dave aspinall , man that fella flies round the sections . we had finished four laps in no time..... some tricky sections which would have taken points off of decent riders. I have that clutch problem on my rev 3. A mate told me to start the bike and then tie the clutch lever in while i get my gear on , works everytime cheers leggins

My chain that snapped a couple of weeks back was an IRIS, never buying another one. Smashed my flywheel cover off and took a chunk of metal out of the clutch casing I too have had a brand new iris chain ( 3 hours old ) snap on me . i took it back and it was exchanged for a d.i.d chain no questions asked. why do these faulty chains always break when you at the section furthest away from your car ?

had a few problems on saturday night which spilled over into sunday morning mate. by the time i was released it was too late to lake at dove cliff It was a shame I didnt make it as I was looking forward to it. Never mind . sounds like your playing with the big boys now. Ive seen Mr dabhil ride . Why do they make trials look so easy , makes my blood boil.......anyway its back to riding over twiggs and stones for me cheers leggins

I cant understand what some people have between their ears. Whats that all about ? practice land is hard enough to come by without morons like that doing their best to give our sport a bad name. You wasnt out past dungworth was you ? Only I passed where a couple of jack wood sections are and there was a couple of vans parked there and a petrol can at the side of the lane. Also the gate across the water fall had been moved. If you need a hand to do some clearing up let me know , Im only to happy to help. that new beta sounds tastey , I can see the market being flooded with secondhand rev 3,s when that 4 stroke is released.

the filter is all oiled up ,a new chain and im ready to rock. Its a pity its raining outside . I think I will sit in the arm chair and watch my world trials dvd.
