    Rev 3 Flooded

Hi Billy Well mate thats put an end to my Winnipeg search so I guess I will have to spend my time watching the wild life at Grand beach, hmmmm if you know what I mean. Tell your wife that i used to live in st.Boniface just off rue Archibald she if knows the area. As far as the battery pack is concerned I have to get my teenage son to sort it out for me as he is a demon with electronics. The only problem is actually getting him to do it as he,s got lots of distractions i.e girlfriends, beer, and his Suzuki bandit street fighter......what a life eh ? Will talk to you later mate its time to do dishes cheers leggins

    Rev 3 Flooded

HI steve Wow that post went off a tangent. Yes steve you are right I did live in Winnipeg throught the 90,s. I moved out there after deciding that I needed a change from the usual routine. After 9 winters there should I say long winters there it was time to return to the homeland. My time in the peg was a great time in my life ,I met some fantastic people a plan to head back out there next year . That is unless I spend the cash on a new Beta..... I will take the oppertunity when there to serch out the Take 5 trials club and hopefully post some photos on this site. cheers leggins p.s. Will sort out that battery pack for the fan .

    Rev 3 Flooded

Wow Billy that was some reply thanks. Your reply really made sense, The idea of installing a battery pack on board sounds great. The only problem with this is that when you live in England it would be rarely used as usually our climate is pants, Thats the reason we all look pastey and pale ha ha. Joking aside I think You have hit the nail on the head, nice one leggins

  20. first of all many thanks for all your help and valid advice. Today I visited a very happy mechanic. After lots of head scratching this chap gave in and called beta for advice. After a long explanation He was told that the problem was the master cyclinder had major wear . I know it seems hard to believe that the rubber seals would outlast a aluminium cyclinder but this is a common fault. A new master cyclinder is on its way from the dealer, Problem solved.........I will let you know. many thanks Leggins
  21. Im just buying a 250 rev 3 from a dealer. While taking a test drive I noticed the rear brake was non existant. I pointed this out to the mechanic who said he would see to it. He said he had done all the usual things i.e bleed ,clean calipers etc . At this time he thought he had it sorted ( 80% ) Another road test and they went again compeletly. There is no sign of leakage. Can anyone help this poor frustrated man cheers leggins
