    Gasgas Misfire

hey there, I have an 09 gasgas 125 and recently it seems to be misfiring with no consistency. Most of time it will run absolutely great but then occasionally it will misfire through the mid-high rev range. It has had a new plug, the carb is cleaned regularly, and the mixture is set up correctly. What could be the problem? Thanks rob

  4. Hi Wayne, Can you help me with some jetting and a few questions regarding 08 4t, what is the standard jetting and can it be improved, i've fitted a 3.5 slide and put needle to middle position, it seems to pick up better with no flat spot off throttle, whats this sps?? and can it be retro fitted?? is it just a float bowl drain plug + extended emulisifier tube?? Also what oil needs to be in it as no Repsol 4000!! stuff round here.... Hope you can help me please, Regards, Ian. Ianmargetts@btinternet.com
  5. hey there, to find out if you have boyesen reeds, you will have to remove the reed block (the thick block that bolts to the crankcase, 4 bolts). If you have Boyesen's then they will be 4 ultra-thin pieces of yellow plastic (may be dirty from fuel). There is no easy way to clean the barb out, you will have to take the airbox off to do this. thanks rob margetts
  6. For anyone that's interested: 118 main 48 pilot with standard slide and needle. Thanks to GG uk!!!

even at the airbox?! The rubber looks alot smaller than the back of the carb so surely you'd have to change the rubber? also would it need rejetting from standard? thanks

  20. Hi all, I have a beta 2002 and the front brake is fine until it touches any water or mud. If it does get wet ten the brake might-as-well not be there, it is so useless!!! I have re-bled it but this does nothing. This only happens after riding a section through water or mud. Any help?
  21. Hi there, I am thinking about buying some ritratto clothing and wanted to know if it was good quality or not. I know someone who bought the older stuff and was very dissapointed with its overall quality, due to ripping and tearing at the seams. Have they made any changes to the quality of the clothing. (I was thinking of getting the shirt, trousers and overjacket) thanks rob
  22. Just tried reeds on the front drive. They were easy to fit and were very different to original. The manifold gasket didn't break which is very strange though I did have to remove the middle-box to get to the rubber inlet bolts. The power at low and high RPM's was definitely improved and the throttle response was sharpened up I can tell. The bike feels more like a Gasser the more you ride response wise, and the power comes cleaner and snappier. Also at low rpms the bike is more smooth and at high rpms the bike is very sharp and very snappy comparatively to the old reeds. I would definitely say that these reeds are a definite for my bike now and all other bikes in the future and as it says on the packet: "The best power increase for your money!" thanks rob PS: this is not an ad. this is just what I think of them!!!
  23. yes that has happened to me too. Just leave them on as they are still protecting the bike and as long as the plastic doesn't wear through then your OK. thanks
  24. yes I am really gay. Don't be so homophobic! I'm the only gay trials rider in the village!!! THANKS DEAR
