  1. Since you are home, the first thing would be hook a 12 volt source to see if it runs. Out in the field you would by pass the thermostat to continue riding. Could be as simple as a bad ground or a poor connection.
  2. Have you tried removing the silencer and running it?
  3. My 200 was the easiest thing to start as long as the pilot jet was clear. Sorry about the line!
  4. All Honda 4 strokes seem to run hot. That was a really good looking bike you picked up. I doubt you have any issues. Too bad you couldn`t ride with us!
  5. Close enough to try, it should work. Beta mikuni at sea level was a 150 main and 30 pilot.
  6. Post #47 he gave the info of where to buy one.
  7. I liked the one just last weekend. A rider went to start his bike and the lanyard was no where to be found. Looked forever, it was stuck to the metal inside the truck bed. I agree that an instant cut out is nice, but all the other issues is not worth it. Same opinion on anti-lock brakes, good for the masses. But in extreme conditions let me have a brake system that works to bring the vehicle under control (Mine not the computer).
  8. I can remember when the `95 Beta came with a Delorto, it was a pile. Jet the bike properly and adjust the floats, simple as that. Otherwise buy an `08 carb. Starts with a K.
  9. There was one in each fork when new. What are you asking?
  10. First you have to check the top hat. It is just the under the clutch. It is the only part that could cause the issue that you have with out the engine being split.
  11. I put a yz 125 (1984) front wheel with disc and used the yz master cylinder. Worked excellent and was cheap. Just had an aluminum adapter made that clamped on the front fork. More stopping power than the new 4 pots.
  12. Just curious if the clutch slips with new plates, why have you stayed with the 4 springs?
  13. My little boy doing two wheel hops on maybe the last bike sold. Not quite as light as his Raga.
  14. https://data.mises.org/daily/1929/A-Spanish-Entrepreneur-vs-The-State Aprilia changed directions and Yamaha has always been around.
  15. I doubt you will find one as they were supposed to be sold. Better off to get a bike with support at the nationals, unless you saw the pay out Honda is offering.
  16. The flat side to the bottom of the holder. I usually put the fork body in a vice (aluminum jaws, not tight ) with the seal holder just resting on the top of the jaws so the holder does not move while installing seals. Hope this helps.
  17. Same way as you took it out. You likely are not making it taller. If that helps. Remember the seal holder actually floats.
  18. Parts Unlimited had an adjustable one for 20 bucks. I believe we adjusted it the opposite as the reflex needs more hit. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/47387-new-bike-in-the-shop/page-3 Part number is in here.
  19. Used JB weld on a very bad fork. Just take the time to make it right. As super smooth. Fork gaiters are perfect afterwards.
  20. I`d be more worried of the adjustment of the chain tensioner. Too tight and there goes the rear hub.

    Engine Debut

More like the bike he has become accustomed too. It`s an instinct we all have!
  22. First thing to do is pull the flywheel and check if the woodruff key has sheared.
  23. You probably need the bike off the ground to spin the tranny to change gears. The cart before the horse. Get it running first. By the way you need to post in the correct forum. Montesa or twin shock. Nobody will come back to help on a 348 under USA. Good Luck.
  24. Replace the condenser before buying a coil. Any single wire condenser will do. It does not have to be for Montesa. Google Southwest Montesa for parts in the states.
