  1. It could be a chain or tire. I had a guy put Shrinkos on a Sherco and the tire would rub on the kickstand spring.

    Chain Guide

It`s bolted. You can easily run with out it.
  3. Barely falling over, cracking one of three mounts and now the damn thing will not run. Give me back my TR34. I have never seen a crank bend from a crash, but I`ve seen a lot of money spent on poor designs. (Aprilia)
  4. Did you do the float level? You can`t just silicon the mag cover. Either silicon it and put a proper vent or just drill a hole in the bottom for water to escape.

    2012 125 Clutch

Fill the master cylinder before installation. Pump it to prime. When removing old m/c keep line up right and install new master cylinder. This is the fastest way to install. Less than ten minutes. Just a few pumps will get out the rest of the air. Now the correct way would be to remove the clutch cover and remove the top hat too bleed out all the old fluid. This can make your life difficult. Could take a couple hours. Have fun.

    My Beta Rev3

Nice bike, you did well. The chain is just barely too tight. ( Better too loose than tight on the 4 bolt sprockets) Also looks like the shifter is one notch too low. Have fun!
  7. Yeah, rider 22 might have been an American. There was a great turn out of European riders, but twenty two was at the end of the list.
  8. I`ll tell you it was damn hard chasing the world round guys while on crutches in the Arizona boulders.
  9. When the wheel was locked, did you have free play on the piston at the M/C? That piston has too move all the way back to release.
  10. That would probably of been the Globe, AZ in 1990. You are in CA, ask Kip Webb, he was riding one that weekend!

  12. You try the easy stuff first. A plug can go bad in a matter of minutes, especially if you have problems. A bad plug can make it spit and cough, which makes it sound like all kinds of issues.
  13. Try a new plug, then see if the noise is still there.
  14. I`ve always refused to ride a bike with the front brake on the left. The rear would not bother me as it will not throw you over the bars! Always amazed at the top riders that never changed the bikes.

    Beta Rev 3 2006

No, it is way too thick. It would cause a lot of clutch drag. ATF was usually used.
  16. I`m thinking my `04 Raga has been rubbing for ten years, still waiting for that leak!
  17. The only reason I said anything is you asked for this to be pinned.
  18. I`d wrap some two sided tape around the leg where the clamp goes.
  19. If the upper clamp is straight inline where the brake line comes through the fender brace it should never rub. Unless we are missing something here.
  20. Beta`s have always had this problem with the mikuni. Typical fixes were an extreme adjustment of the float, and or the vent tubes. With your long vent tubes, you could be causing this just by pulling a vacuum. Pull off the vent tubes and see what happens. Also check out the Beta forum.
  21. Guys is one of them. Front brake on the left, rear brake on the right!
  22. You have the gear timed wrong. This is a picture from Gas Gas. The gear rotates up clock wise in the picture. I cheat as I have one in my hand.
  23. The video does not show the correct timing. The timing is in a Gas Gas tech bulletin. If yours is working, close enough!
