That's right PETERB ! I make a washer in duraluminium with a 2 mm step who when tightened comes against the center and very recommended Loctite the M10 and torque ! Pulling out the basket is a bit tricky so better don't touch it ,the ¨axial play ¨ is quite normal .Put in mine a S3 kit for Gasgas and everything is ok !!

The fact is that JTG is changing the business model factory/ Importer/ local dealer / customer to a factory direct /customer or factory/ Importer / customer like in the USA or Italy . In my case , Colombia , direct from factory ,very good price but i have to deal with the import paperwork ,not a problem.For the parts order direct to the factory and very quick availability ,the main problem is when you order very few and cheap items ( air filter, gaskets ,o´rings ... ) the shipping cost is very high like 80 euros but in the other way expensive and more heavy are competitive.For those interested in JTG there is a jotagasforums.com from the US importer Clay ,very good !!! Different markets !!!

Well, a friend of mine in Colombia ordered ( and paid ) on 17 th of september a TRS One who was scheduled to be delivered on mid December , at that moment they tell him the delay will be till march because Covid and supplies problems!! Perhaps some markets are better supplied ?That's true also that the reputation of Jotagas is not at it best ,I hope too that with the G2 grup things will be better, i make my bank transfer to Techparts G2 at the Sabadell bank account , Jotagas seems to disappear until in the USA because brand registers.

Today i had an answer from the factory ,the production of trial bikes is delayed because the slow supplies of components .

That 's right ,the main problem of Jgas is the lack of communication by one side and I feel also that in Europe there is a kind of "blackout "around the brand !The magazines ,stores and others people around trials ignore completely the brand since Jordi Tarres left it !!I saw in Jotagasforum.com in the US that the new enduro Jgas G 2 has been delivered to Clay the importer !!Very good news for all !!!The bike seems to be at the same level that the populars ones and with Ohlins suspensions, Magura, S 3 stuff etc...

Hi Heavydabber !!Very nice bike, it seems in very good shape !!What i suggest is to change the rear brake lever by the improved 2016 version who is inside the frame and not too difficult to do.Perhaps putting 10 mm spacers on the front mudguard and absolutely imperative check the bolts of the crank (top and bottom) and the bolts and nuts of the rear sprocket !!!!Be vigilant to with the space between the muffler and the airbox ,absolutely no contact because the airbox will melt and it ´s pretty expensive !!Enjoy your bike ! Sadly i ´haven't be able to send pictures of mine !

I 'm in Colombia ,South America . Between 2012 and 2015 around 15 Jgas where imported to this country ,I bought a 2012 in good shape 18 months ago, had a Monty 315 97 and then a Sherco Cabestany 2007 , the Jgas is still a modern bike ,very light (63,8 kg without petrol measured by myself ) ,good engine ,good suspensions, very poor marketing and excellent price !!! Many of the main inconvenient have been corrected (as the others brands ) so is why I ordered a new one but 280 cc ,the 300 cc is only needed on big obstacles !

I´ll go for an Airoh , had the HT 2 standard but the Airoh is far superior in vents and overall quality , the weight is 50 grs lighter in XL size and the HT 2 carbon version could be very similar but 100 usd more !!

I ordered a 280 cc 2021 model on december 4 th !!Waiting for it ! Actually i have a 300 cc 2012 model since year an half and i enjoy it , really a good bike ! The worst is the gear box , imprecise and too much travel on the lever, the diagram clutch is sensitive to the cleaning and a bit harsh but since the 2017 and then 2019 models everything is on par with the others brands .The best is lightweight ,good frame ,very good rear suspension but needs (as the others bikes ) the proper spring for rider weight ,the other stuff is identical to the brands .Love also the aluminum frame and integrated gas tank, no rust , no inflated petrol tank , stiff frame ,average good quality components .Jotagas, now G 2 has a direct platform to order spare parts directly from factory and the bikes are at a very competitive low price !! Mine cost me 4500 Euros ex-works no VAT !

I have just ordered my 2021 Jgas 280cc !! In fact they are still producing the trials motorcycles but whitout advertising, direct on line buys !!

In fact the Jotagas have an oil filter but not in the common way ( your car ) ,the oil filter is for the clutch and the gearbox, very easy and important to clean it ! Take off the clutch cover , take off the 10 Hex bolts and the steel ring ,who is also the diafram spring, will show you the filtered materials! Clean it and reassemble everything and you ´re done !!
