Id doubt it, I think it depend on Ragas choice of Money or Commitment. Keep in mind Raga has stuck with Gas gas since the start of his career, and so the loyalty is definatly there. Although keep in mind Ragas relationship with Jordi Tarres! If Raga was to move to Honda would that relationship still be there? Raga seems very commited to GG and I really cant see him moving, unless it is a money matter. Although as a top rider, young rider and VERY talented rider Im pretty sure Raga can set some deal with gas gas? After all, for the sake of more money, Id think gas gas would like to keep Raga aswell as the reputation of transporting one of the best riders in trials!

Hey Mac Unfortunatly not, been very busy these past few months with exams and work and whatnot. But, starting to get out on the bike more often now, and now I have some funds coming in I can tart the bike up. I will be riding in the very near future... How about yourself? Regards, Matt.

Thats really important................not so you want me to ride in pitch black and ride into a tree and smash myself on it? ok great to know someone cares.. charltons is ok,good if you just wanna ride around for fun and theres about 5 or 6 sections, it could do with more theres no pics anywhere i dont think you won't be riding around charltons in the dark because in winter time the gate gets double locked at dusk ie the warden put's another lock on,there's more sections available than that i suppose it all depends on your ability if it's plenty of section practice you want join scarbrough club, 140 acres,loads of rocks,and any other section you get in most trials the gates broken at the mo and it has been for 2 or 3 weeks and its quite easy to hoik the bike over the steps at the side as i done while iw as waiting to get my key and the reason i want alight on in the first place is when i was going up the top a week ago it was half 8 gettin dark and the lil path going up is all dark and going into it is narrow and i smacked my hand on a branch thatw as sticking out and it hurt so much i fell off yes i no dont go up that path in 4th gear in the dark ok but still so this scarborough place, how much is it for the day or do you have to buy a mebership ect? Ok, without turning this into a massive arguement...Disc, the term 'dark' means when the sun goes down, and things are no longer visable. No matter what time it is, its STILL dark, and a light will not help you at all. The lights on trials bike are not ment for use IN trials, only during roads/paths. What happens if your on your back wheel and you cant see whats infront of you because your 'light' is shining into space? The lights aren't that powerful either, they couldnt keep a section lit up, so really you'd just end up hurting yourself and no one will find you...and I dont think you or the landowners/club wants that to happen. Yes, it does get dark earlier, its winter...it happens every year for the last couple of million years, but its something your just going to have to deal with.

Howdy Folks, I have a job and all...so time to blow money on parts...which I am in need of. Problem is, I have no credit card, only a cashcard, which cannot be used in shops or online...so only at cashpoints....how convenient. Anyway, I'm in need of parts for the old Montesa, one of which is a new rear mudguard. After looking all over what websites I can find...end reuslt was Apex Motorsports. But the problem is...its in AMERICA! A complete waste of time ordering from America, when I can get the part from Sandifords. Questions... 1. Is there any website (UK ONLY!!) that deals with ONLINE SHOPPING for MONTESA parts? 2. Any chance of being able to pay for goods via a cash postal? I can use my dads Credit card and pay him back if need be...but If I pay cash then it prevents him moaning at me about what I buy Cheers!! MATT

Its TRIALS!! Things are going to break...regularly. Yes, the parts are expensive...as with ANY parts, cars, other bikes, boats and anything else you can think of. Im afraid its just wear and tear, and you should be prepared to pay out a lot of money for parts. Im guessing that your problems is that you broke/worn out parts in the past and never replaced them...replace them NOW. Your list will get bigger and bigger and it will get more expensive. I wouldnt say trials is an expensive sport at all, I rarly pay out for parts, simply because I dont break them, and if I do I buy a new one...and that will be the last pay out for (what I hope) a long time. If you leave it, then the parts and cost mounts up...and THEN it is an expensive sport. I do agree that some parts are overpriced...although you cant use other parts, nore can you get them cheaper...so complaining does very little.

Does anyone know of the 'A Clarke' In the results? Possibly Adrian? New riders near me who I sometimes see riding about, possibly the ones on the results located in 'Heanor or L/Mill'. Any of them come on here?

I have the XC Ting Montesa Trousers...in all honesty...they are pathetic things in my personal opinion. They aren't tight on me, only on legs and thighs and quite loose on the a***...I have a small a***...I think... In the little pocket I have...Keys, cable ties, spoke ends, 7mm spanner (for spokes) and a mobile phone!...Not bad for a small pocket. Problem is I have all this stuff in my pocket, leading to an 'oversized' lump in my crotch area...but hey, whos complaining?

Hi, Just a question...how do you think the manufactures will deal with selling the new four stokes? Montesa for example, god knows how many 04 bikes they produce, but around most are already brought before they are realised (though deposits). The Four Stroke Honda (in my opinion) will be highly requested, as will other brands when their 4 strokes come out. Although the rule isn't in place till 2006, requests for these bikes will be massive. How will manufactures deal with this massive request? What are your opinions?

Right here...Go to the front page and look at the Classfield for used bikes. Also Auto Trader has second hand bikes, click the 'bikes' tab, and find the bike your after in the bike list...all the modern trials bikes are listed there. The smaller club websites will/might have classifields also, handy if your local club has a website with them on, but useless if the club is elsewhere (unless you want to travel of course)...which your more then likely going to have to do anyway. Websites such as MotoSoup also have many, many trials bikes. Problem is its an American site...and many of the bikes on there you will find over here easily, but minus the shipping costs and the rest of the hassle that comes with buying from abroad.

I think bike choice is down to personal prefrence and riding style. Both are exellent bikes, and anyone that says otherwise it is only because problems they or a friend has had with the bike...eg. the frame snapping on the gasser...bad news travels faster then good, right? I currently own a montesa, never had a problem with it, and my next bike will definatly be another montesa. Its not that I wouldn't choose a gas gas, I'd hopefully own one in the future. Neither of the bikes are bad, although GasGas has a repretation of being bad bikes...why? Any current gas gas owner will tell you they are exellent bikes...likewise with any brand. Although it seems the ex-gas gas owners tell of the horrors they had with theirs. GasGas cannot be bad at all...ok, there are problems...everything has there problems. But so many riders own GasGas bikes, take a glimpse at the SSDT riding numbers list and look at the bike column...that many riders cannot be wrong!!

I agree Steve. I'd love to see Dougie pull though, and I'd like to think he could do it...but you must admit Raga is a VERY talented lad and its time for Dougie to move over and let Raga step into his boots. I do support Raga, hes an entertaining rider to watch...he deserves it if he wins!

Hi, The other week when riding I snapped the rear suspension linkage, yesterday I stripped the bike down, removed the broken part and thought I may aswell take the swingarm off and grease it all up. So, got the manual out and read up on it 'Remove pivot bolt'...no use what so ever. Came on here, and looked at the diagrams on Apex Sports, and printed off the Swingarm one. Now...I removed ONE nut (looking from the back of the bike, towards the front, the nut was the one on the LEFT hand side). It came off without much force at all. Now...onto the right hand side...it didn't budge at all, with too much force the rachet would slip and chew the nut up...didn't want that hassle so I but the other nut back on and left it. Now...how the hell does that swingarm get off? Looking at this part 18 seems to be on the left hand side...not the right. (meaning, the NUT is on the LEFT on my bike, not on the RIGHT as it says in the diagram) Any advice is greatful Cheers.
