  1. i to have looked into this myself not the same vehicle but the same idea the only thing to watch out for is the towbars nose weight mine was only 75kg and the 4rt is 81kg with a full tank of fuel as its not a cheap machine to start with i opted out of that idea didnt want to see it bouncing down the road behind me

    the manual does say 1mm of friction lining left you should replace them before damage is done to the disc much more costly than a set of pads

    its all been discussed here in detail previously as for the programable throttle body the previous reply was correct the 05 - 06 models were supplied with a single programable throttle body but alas thats now not the case there is a 2 map throttle body available if you search on line if you are still struggling to find any info after searching the relevant forum then i will forward some details to assist

  11. the kick start is in two parts the lower part contains a small bearing that acts as a locater to keep it closed when not in use this bearing has a spring that tensions it what you need to do is remove the srew that holds the top part to the lower part then very slowly remove the top part the bearing should fallout if it dont then the springs more than likely gone please refer to attached picture

    i had the same problems but on a much older rev 3 i would recommend replacing the whole case not just the pump seals i wouldnt be surpised if the case was porous as its magnesium & as youve allready stated the bottom half that holds the pump cover seal in place has corroded phone either your local beta dealer or john lampkin imports for prices as i recall it cost me about

    try removing the clutch slave cylinder & pull the rod out now see if the ball bearing is in there i had the same problem on one i rebuilt the bearing had fallen out & i had missed it put the bearing back in all sorted

  16. i dont think thats the one m8 the one im after is an internal thread it is 1.5mm thread pitch left hand thread but i dont know what size it it exactly

Gas Gas Recomendations Spark Plug NGKBP5RES, Champion RN11YC, Bosch Platinum WR9DP Trans/Clutch Oil Always 5W30 (Not 10W40), 350cc for the Pro, 650cc for other models, normal motor oil (Castrol/Penzoil etc). It is not recommended to use synthetic oil. Gasoline 95 Octane minimum. No alcohol type blends. (Jim uses Sunoco purple 115 octane 20% to Shell unleaded premium 80%). Premix Between 80:1 and 100:1 Brake Fluid DOT 4 is standard. DOT 5 is fine. (All higher numbers mix with lower numbers).

    Tyz Problems

    must agree with woody on the woodruff key for first point of call and yes ive seen crankcases full of fuel especially on betas if you dont turn the fuel off
