Thanks ,glad some of you like it !! All of the work done has been done by myself (Wizardpaintwerx) apart from the couple of buy ins. Wheels powder coated gloss black. Frame,swingarm,engine casings,subframe,sump guard,levers,kickstart,rear brake lever,gear lever,chain guard,wheel adjusters,yolks,clamps and bars all powder coated satin black. Front forks,rear shock and rear muffler sprayed satin black. Plastics are black with rainbow metalflake,flames are my mix of a pearl and metalflake red with pearl white pinstripes and all nicely coated in clear. Buy in add ons are titanium footpegs,hope fuel cap,hope breather and hope adjusters.Anodized red cutch&fnt master cylinder tops and flat sump guard. Yes it will get scratched,cos thats what they are for !! The website is badly in need of updating as you may have noticed but still gives you a rough idea. Total cost would probably be quite a lot! If you want a real idea of costings just drop me a line

Bloody annoying also,i knew that indoor trials was different and the sections man made but it was the smart dress and the long sticks that the riders were holding that made me think that it wasnt the real mcoy that i was watching! Whilst i woild like to be of more help , im sure that you appreciate Don that i am reluctant to give out a quick fix to a problem that i learnt how to deal with after a lot of time and a lot of cock ups!! Here is the cryptic tip then. Tell him to work out in which part of the process the problem occurs and then deal with the problem 1st!! You/he should get it from that.

Howard Bainbridge, now there is a name i aint heard for ages!! I sold him my old aprilia,top bloke used to come down to the workshop quite a bit years ago on all sorts of bikes.Not heard owt of him for years. back to topic,the guy cota kid is on about is a bloody good clubman rider and usually can be found in the top 5 in clubman nationals, go for it.You will be probably better after it mentally too!! Powder coating will adhere to magnesium no problem and will be tougher and should last longer than other mentioned coatings.Your local shop just needs to know how to deal with it.It is true that mag casings 'gas out' but the same can be said of sand cast alluminium casings. They need to release the gasses before they coat it and then apply an etch primer before they p.coat it.I have coated loads of magnesium stuff as we do quite a lot of w. superbike stuff,incl. casings and magnesium wheels etc. hope this helps.

When you got yer bike new you should have got a ticket of newness.Take this along to yer local dvla office along with yer insurance ticket and they will register it for the road for you for the cost of the road tax.(

'Dealer can only do it' me smells a scam. I insured mine through Carol Nash a couple of months ago and they were fine with just a chassis number !! Eventually even got round to registering it too in the end with the dvla.
